Folks, I looked for a thread but didn't find one.

I have the Fanatec CSL Elite Racing wheel for PS4 & GT Sport.

In the last week, it has developed a very noticeable delay in acceleration when the gas pedal is pressed quickly. This makes driving very difficult since there is a delay between when the gas pedal is pressed down and the car begins to accelerate.

I have applied the latest driver patch: Fanatec_64_driver_293. I checked for a newer patch but there does not seem to be one.

Does anyone know if there a compatibility problem with GT Sport, or a newer Fanatec patch?

Has anyone else experienced throttle delay on Fanatec of other wheel/pedal kit?

The problem may coincide with the latest patch, 1.08 but I'm not sure. Maybe it's a GTS issue but I don't know.

Any help you can provide is appreciated. Thanks.

This might be LSD changing throttle.
That said, you could try plugging your wheel to your PC, opening up the driver, and selecting update from there. Instead of downloading the latest driver from their site.

Found the problem. The problem started when the weather turned colder. I keep my home at 17° C or 63° F in the winter and the pedal was not warm enough to operate properly. I noticed that if I drove for an extended period, usually more than 1 hour, the problem was less severe since the pedal was being used and probably warming up. So I pointed a small hair dryer at the pedal assembly for a few minutes to heat it up and the throttle lag disappeared completely.
