Chaps,
I am thinking of springing for the Fanatec Turbo S Ultimate Edition with the clubsport pedals, however i have just spotted something on the pictures of the wheel that confuses me..

Are the shifter paddles just buttons on the wheel or are they actually paddles?

this would seem to show buttons and not paddles?

Just to clarify...

With the paddles, it is still just buttons. They screw on top of the buttons, and there really isn't any range of motion to them, or even any click.

hi I just received my ulitmate edition last week, along with the carbon paddles. They are buttons but with the clubsport paddles you definately can still feel when you shift. The link below shows a close up of the carbon paddles on the turbo s (about time 1.09). If you do go for it I'd definately recommend getting the clubsport paddles too (I personally thought the standard ones look to small so I went for the carbon paddles).
