Broken or damaged Load Cell. Has this happened to anyone on here? If so, how often are we talking about? This has already happened to me twice in 18 months. I'm wondering now if this is a maintenance item (think brake pads on your car)? If so, shouldn't (or is there) a notation to classify as so? I've already written to Fanatec my displeasure with this unit. They covered the first replacement load cell which I appreciate their customer service for that. I'm in process of ordering another replacement Load Cell (at $59.50 each), just waiting for their quote. Please share any experience you guys have. Thanks.

2nd Unit (hope you can see the hairline cracks on both sides of the rivet.

I have not had any issues with my V3 load cell and that is over a year use, that is strange your having issues.

I’ve had the V3i for over 3 years. I typically use 90% of the 90kg capacity, so heavy use. No issues with load cell. Only thing replaced has been recently; throttle pedal Hall sensor. I’d give it a shot of contact cleaner to eliminate an erratic signal (static charge buildup?). But the last time I did it, I didn’t turn off the power before doing so. $13 part, $13 shipping.
EDIT: After 3 years of not being able to feel the vibration motors, I devised my own solution. If interested, see this post

How did you open up the thing like that? Mine broke installing the brake performance kit. Wires snapped out from the white stuff completely
