Farboud GT 2005

Also known as the "Arash AF-10 LM", the Faboud GT is a twin turbo Corvette engined track monster that was designed to put supercar manufacturer Arash Farboud (that's the guys actual name, pretty cool huh?) on the map, and potentially participate in high level racing as well.

Unfortunately, only one of these awesome cars were made because of Porsche's design copyright claims that the GT looked too much like their 911-GT1...

The one Farboud GT that was made however, is quite an impressive machine, with performance figures of 220 mph and 0-60 in 3.2 seconds thanks to its 620 bhp power output.

I was fortunate enough to see this car in person at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and it sure does make an impression...

Cheap tacky rear lights aside this looks pretty cool and is a car I would very much like to see in GT7.

Seriously though at our factory we have tooling for a very minor component on this car, that was never used. I remember designing the tool profile, but never actually did know what car it was for..... now I do. Interesting.
