Post AND Vote 4 your best time at Test course.

My personal best is 1'11.259 using the Toyota GT1 Race Car w/1350hp including oil light on.

using the wheelie trick in the escudo i pulled off a 1.08 ... have to check my memory card for exact time :D :D

Basically Goldberg it's the same settings as X's Wheelie Trick Settings but the final gear ratio i didnt touch.

Is it just me or is the Test Course incredibly boring?

You either win comfortably or get flogged.

Anything more than two laps is excruitiating.

True enuff, but I thought that drafting added a little spice to it in GT3. The operative phrase being "a little". ;)

Fair comment - but you need to nail the gearing for it to be a contest.

The old test course was better as it was actually quite spooky in the corners at high speed, and you needed to have the set-up reasonably right - ended up backwards on the inside of the banks a couple of times with cars that were spung too stiffly.

Heh, also very true. I can't tell you how many times I'll get into a race only to bounce off the rev limiter repeatedly and lose anyway.

Another thing I liked about the old Test Course is that it's a fraction of the length. I distinctly remember taking my 930 bhp GTO and 0wning the High Speed Challenge. I could finish a lap in under a minute. :burnout:

The fastest saved time I've done is 1:01.337 also using the Toyota GT1 Race Car. The trick is to get the car wheeling just after you come of the bends!!:burnout:

1.Equip the highest possible turbo or NA tune stage possible.

2.Decrease spring rate to smallest possible value on both front and rear.

3.Decrease ride height to smallest possible value on both front and rear.

4.Set gear ratio's auto setting to highest possible level.

5.Decrease front Downforce to the lowest and increase rear Downforce to the highest possible value.

6.Set ASM and TCS to level 0

Now go out on the test course and when u reach about 230mph your car will begin to catch some air

I do and I still can't beat a 1:08.1. Its even lifting slightly round the bends. What tyres do you use?

take the wheelie settings and put autogear up to max. Now go to final gear and put that up to max. Do this with the one above too. Ive just done a 59.4XX and know i can go faster. If you want faster than slowly stiffen the front springs. Dont do this too fast or youll end up in a spin at 2000+
