Fastest And Max Horse Power

Do a search...I'm sure there's 3-4 theads covering the topic.

The HKS Drag cars have the most power (1011hp), but they are only fast in a straight line. The Escudo is the fastest car in the game, if by no means the most fun to drive. A chimpanzee could win races in an Escudo.

I have none of the above in any of my 4 garages, to tell you the truth.

the escudo blows like no other...would a chimp beat me in its escudo if i was in a modded speed 12...just curious

Unless you're some kind of Jedi, almost anybody or anything can beat you in a SPeed 12 with an Escudo. Speed 12s are insurmountably difficult to drive. I suppose if you'd found some magical way to tune its oversteer, you might have a chance...

:lol:   You hardly have to be a jedi to control the speed 12...Maybe you aren't the TVR nut that I was. I've logged a lot of hours in the speed 12, and with somewhat intense concentration I can prevent the back end from coming around on me through out the entirety of the race....on the contrary I think you have to be a "Jedi" to control the escudo...understeering bastard that it is...hate that car:mad:

insurmountable is exactly what the TVR speed 12 is NOT....I had the same view of this car until through my magic "jedi" powers (frustration at having there a be a vehicle in the game I coudn't master) I chose to challenge it's formidable oversteer to a duel and I came out on top....btw I'm no technical guru.. I havent got the first clue how to tune the vehicles on GT (maybe a slight exaggeration...I know VERY VERY basic things) I think all I did was add some rear down force, but I'd done that just experimenting with it after I already had it figured out....You just have to feel it out...oh and what view do you drive in. I have a theory that people who opt for the view inside the vehicle are disadvantaging themselves (this only applies to the game..not real life, obviously) when it comes to pushing a car to its limits...please respond I ask so many questions on this board, and I'm rarely answered

I´m with you there. The first chase cam gives you more control. At least that´s the one I´m more used to but the inside cam is a lot more thrilling. Anyway when racing beauties like the speed 12 the chase cam is always an advantage. Have you ever tried changing to chase cam type 2? Instead of seeing the car normally you see its side when sliding or drifting. It´s a fix camera it doesn´t follow the rear of the car. Cool to prevent initial wheelspin.

Well, i believe Joey would rather spand more time with a car with either A More potential, or BMore fun to drive.

This must be a joke...more potential...hmmm and what car would you suggest is going to get around the track "potentially" faster than a Speed 12 "potentially" can..

And as far as fun to drive..admittedly it is not very much fun to drive a car you havent the skill to control (cough cough ahem Joey).. so I guess you got me there:(
