Fastest car with acceleration and to speed?

Hi, i Wonder wich car that i can buy that is the fastest car in a straight line race? Except the redbull x1, ive heard that a car called GTRis the fastest with acceleration and top speed, is it the BMW McLaren f1 gtr people Are talking about?

And if it is, where can i Get one, and how much does it cost?

The Formula Gran Turismo would fall in behind the X1. It will absolutely smoke the F1 GTR. Not that the F1 is not a good car but it is a GT class car and has no chance against the FGT in most cases. most of the LMPs will also eat it for breakfast. Against other GTRs and LM race cars it is a contender.

Edit I did not notice the straight line part. A maxxed out Veyron is not bad in a straight line. Still from 0 - 240mph not sure anything short of the X1 is going to beat the FGT it has over 900 hp and only weights 550kg

For outright acceleration it goes something like:
1. Red Bull X1
2. Formula GT
3. Bugatti Veyron
4. Still unsure but the Group C cars like R92CP are my pic as some will outrun the Veyron at top speed.

X1 is definitely the fastest and has the highest top speed. Transmission setting can't be changed but it's set at 315mph and I've only taken it up to 312mph. Acceleration is crazy quick... need to time it sometime.

The top speed on the Veyron is great and it gets to 100mph very quickly due to its grip but the group C cars absolutely trounce it from 100-230. The old Toyota 7 race car is insanely fast from 100-200mph aswell. A fully tuned Bugatti Veyron vs a fully tuned Mclaren F1 is surprisingly close once moving.

4. Still unsure but the Group C cars like R92CP are my pic as some will outrun the Veyron at top speed.

I kept up with a FGT with my RS6 advant up to 220kmh and walks a veyron until that speed as well.

Group C cars will annihilate the Veyron.

The Bugatti will not smoke the FGT in anything.

My Suzuki Dirt Car is as quick as my FGT it never gets a mention on these threads. although in previous gts the Suzuki was boss.

I think he's referring to top speed.. Since the Veyron has a higher top speed than Formula One cars, the question becomes "how accurate is the FGT's top speed and can it go faster than a Veyron?"

It's somewhat unfair to compare the Veyron to race cars, because it's not a race car.. people seem to forget that. Of course a race car is faster.. it's a race car. The fact that the Veyron is in this conversation at all, even in a limited way, is a testament to its performance.

Speed 12? That car can go from 100-200mph quite quickly I'd say faster than my Veyron. I would like to see a comparison of the FGT vs the Ferrari F1's...

its alllllll about tuning. 1000 cars with numerous tuning and gear ratios will change all. what are your specifics? 0-60 0-100 0-200?

X1 is 1.

F10, F2007, FGT are 2 through 4.

5 through 10 could be the Minolta, Sauber, R89, R92 and XJ9 in any order

then comes the LMP cars
then the Veyron.
