Well me and my friends are racing Mulsane Straigh with pretty much everything that runs fast enough. For quite a time I've been about building fast FF car but unfortunately I don't know too much about these, especially when it comes to tuning potential ect. So straight up - which car would do the best. It doesn't need to have ideal launch but rather reach its top speed fast enough. I heard DC5 ITR would be good but everyone recommends race-modding it yet I can't do it as we agreed (between my friends) we're not using racing cars. Also another question - does lifting the back work as well in GT5 as it does in real life for shifting weight in FF cars? Stupid question but clearly I never raced FWD car... Thanks in advance

Max out (medium turbo). Lower front and lift the back so that there's more mass being pushed by front axle rather than dragged by it (so you use your power more efficiently). Gearbox auto setup @230mph i think. Put some LSD too. Love the way SRT4 smokes tyres even in 4th :D

just got an srt4 and it scared me with the 600 hp under the hood. Also if any1 can tell me how to set 1 up for 1/4 i would really appreciate it.

Rear up, front down; springs both pretty stiff; rear dampers something like 1/10; maybe a bit front toe (+)

That's a basic fwd suspension.

SRT4 every time!
I went into an online room at TGTT and some guy pulled up next to me in his RM'd Civic, proclaiming his car had wasted a bunch of GTR's and that he could take everyone in the room. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!

Long story short, I left him in my tyre smoke before even getting out of the wheelspin in first gear!

Also may be worth trying the Focus RS, as it has a reasonable amount of power, but weighs about the same as a dishcloth. Masses of torque too!

Someone that claims to have beaten a GTR with a civic is obviously under the influence of some substance. Also, it is no surprise that your srt beat that civic since it has over 200 hp more than the civic...

thankyou i like drifting but in my spare time i drag race just wanted to know, and again thanks :)

Odd thing about the SRT4...

I picked up 1mph by going completely backwards on the ride height. No idea why it worked but it hasn't had a convincing loss in the tunnel. 1/4 would be different, but who drags a FWD in the 1/4 in GT5?

Go and see. Half the rooms are Civic Only

Because they can't tune anything else lol:dopey:

 It's funny cause it's true. :D

Everyone knows the only good H brand in FF's is Hyundai, especially down the tunnel, haven't been beaten by a CTR or ITR yet. The only good FF Honda's are the Accord EX with it's massive 521hp, followed by the Preludes (Type S & SiR) with 438 & 436hp respectively. 👍 Prelude v Tuscani is usually a decent race. :)
