fastest you've gone

whats the fastest you've ever gone in a car or turck driving or riding. for me it was 130 mph riding with my dad in his 90 GMC 1500. fastest i've drove is like 116mph in my 95
kia.gif
sephia 5 speed, 1.6 ltr, sohc.

150ish in a few of my own cars. 140-150ish on my bike.

I'm not sure about other people's cars, or when I was riding ***** instead of driving.

at the track in my car i can just tip 120.

in an m coupe with vanos we did maybe 145.

next time i go up i hope to ride in a 911 turbo, RUF or this NSX that puts out over 400hp.

I've done about 135 mph driving my Neon ACR; about 145-50 mph driving a Lamborghini Espada. Riding passenger I've done about the same.

Riding I've been 145 in my friends truck. He hit the nitrous going down I-75.

Driving I think around 120 in the Eclipse. In the Blazer I've topped it at 105.

122mph (indicated) in a 1993 Ford Fiesta 1.3i LX. The car was surprisingly stable for it's size (it's a small hatch, not exactly "hot" and 936kg in weight - just over 2000lbs). But it's not something I recommend.

I remember flying down I-75 in the Chevelle at around 120mph and I flew past my parents. When I got home my Mom called and asked if that was me. My Dad tried to convince her I would never drive like that. I admitted to her it was. She just said "You are going to kill yourself"

I did almost the same thing once, except it was someone else's parents. Me and my friend Robert were going to Charleston, and we knew his Dad was on the same road as us just further on up so I decided to do a nice lil' fly-by at around 140mph.:P Later that day when we got to his house, we walked in the door, his dad just sorta had this grin on his face, and he said, "You guys are either crazy, or just ****ing retarted!" We just started busting up laughing.

128 in a costomer's Millenia S. 127 in my dad's Probe GT.

84 with me driving, in the 323.

About 170MPH when driving my friends Turbo Corvette, and 182 when he was driving. Mind you, this was done on normal streets, no race track or freeway, just some back roads.

I can't drive yet, buffoon.
So how fast have you ridden? 80? Count Chris out for the California trip - it's okay, though, because Matt and his brother are both coming. Neither are excited about riding in the back of the pickup, though. :irked:

140 kmh driving, 130 mph riding in a 427 vette. He backed off when the ****ing radar went off:(

I have done 130kmh up a hill which is in a 50 zone, but its all good since theres no houses or foot paths there

i hate those damn footpaths too! :D j/k

im sure this thread has been done before though...

speaking of flybys, i had one done to me at what i reckon was 200mph. i was doing 120 and a gt3 flew past so quickly it rocked my car quite a bit. i just about managed to see 'gt3' on the back before it disappeared (and i could see the road for miles)

About 100mph a year ago in the Subie.

And 80 isn't very fast for Californian freeways... heck, my dad was going 80 just today in the Ford Ranger, and we still had cars passing us.

That's why I'm boycotting I-5 on my upcoming west coast trip.

And how exactly are you going to go about this boycotting business?

I'll tell you exactly how, I've already got that part figured out completely:

From the east:
- I-40 to Needles, CA
- US 85 to Blythe, CA (The Lonely Miles - best highway on Earth)
- I-10 to County Road 2
- County Road 2 to Desert Center, CA and Joshua Tree National Park

Leaving the park:
- Twentynine Palms, CA to Ludlow, CA (some county highway)
- I-40 to Barstow, CA

From there...:
- CA-58 to Four Corners, CA
- US-395 to Gardnerville, NV
- NV-207 to the town of South Lake Tahoe, CA

Tahoe to the state line:
- US-50 to US-395
- US-395 to Alturas, CA
- CA-299 to Canby, CA
- CA-139 to state line.

And I've done it! After that, I'm heading to Crater Lake Oregon, Glacier National Park, Montana, and to see my family in Denver before heading back to Texas.

Mine can get impacted from the side too. Most cars can. Dur!

Wow, you're liek, dedicated to this boycotting stuff. I'd spite you by threatening to travel on the I-5 every time I ride in a car, but I already do...
