I agree with Danoff on this one, I don't need to see a video of a fatal motorcycle crash, or beheading, or shooting or whatever. I understand the importance of photos and videos to make people aware of these kinda of things but I've seen all I need.

^This. Same goes for any shock photos/videos no matter what they're about. I think people will understand the world is a miserable place without having videos of fatal crashes or pictures of hungry kids stuffed in front of their faces.

See I'm not sure it's "just another shock video". Ignorance is probably the biggest killer on our (UK) roads, and a video such as this going "viral" could well be more effective than random speed traps.

I doubt anyone here needs to see it as this community is probably fairly confident in their driving abilities. Discussing its potential in educating perhaps less worldly road users is a separate issue, and I think it's a good attempt by a police force in confronting a nasty problem.

I only ever saw that reminder in the Motorsports section, and thought it was more to guard against videos that aren't informative. I left it as a link as it may be unsuitable for children (although some questionable videos/links are in the Gaza thread), but will remove if against AUP.
