I think a 2 year old can get into any showing for free, i think it was just so the kid wouldn't bug him or something. I also think that The Dark Knight really isn't the best movie to take a little kid to. the guy should have just hired a sitter.
 
Having a 2 year old at home myself, there is no way in hell I could ever do that.

It's an American prison, he'll have A/C, cable, and all sorts of other "nice" things.

I don't understand why people do this to their kids, I mean is it really worth it so you can go get your hair done, see a film, or whatever else it is these "adults" do?
 
We Americans are too nice... We spend tons of money on one person that could be going to a project or something and a bad daddy had to leave the kid in the car. He sure is a genus!

Well the American prison I saw Louis Theoroux go into didn't have cable, didn't seem particularly a nice place either. Then again, it is a prison.

Most prisons are fairly "nice" in America, the ones in Michigan have cable TV for the inmates, they get books (as well as newspaper) and some even have access to the internet. As a tax payer this pisses me off.

Tbh, Joey. Whether they have cable TV or not, criminals won't stop being criminals. Only a handful ever change. However, from the point of view of you paying for it. Well, yes, I can see why that is a pain. I wouldn't force prisoners to live in something like a Stalag. I even think that they need some contact with the outside world, after several years inside they can become disillusioned with reality. I suppose it depends on whether you care or not about criminals being rehabilitated.
 
I have no idea what category they are, I would guess state prisons where murders, drug dealers, and the lot go.

Prisoners don't deserve anything other then the basics of life, basic food, water, adequate temperature, basic clothing, etc. They do not deserve anything else because they are in prison for a reason. If prison was a lot worse I think people wouldn't attempt stupid things because they know what would happen if they got caught. I'm not saying torture them or deprive them of basic needs, just don't give them anything. They can workout and talk to other inmates while they aren't out cleaning up areas or whatever it is they do.

Rehabilitation? Sometimes that might work but other times not, I think it should be a case by case thing.
 
Utah's climate is kinda toasty during the summer, ussually getting into the 90's in the day. it gets to about 60-70 in the night. Of course I live in northern utah, so I have no idea what the climate is like where this happened.
 
What a total ass! Seriously the dark knight does not take priority over your children!.... nothing much should really take priority over your children!

Why did it bring the kid at 1 am anyway?... where was the mother during all of this?

I also saw that louis theroux docu about american prisions and it looked like hell!

That dad has a lot of 🤬 in his head... why would any 2-year old deserve to stay in a car for 2-3 hours?? It's just like forgetting their birthday, that's how bad it is. 🤬 insane.
