My all time favorite track ever in any racing game I've played
(which is more or less anything available on the PC platform)
has to be "Zone Industrielle" in Need For Speed : Porsche
Unleashed. That track and an old'ish 1976 911 Turbo fully
modded is probably the most fun I can have with a steering
wheel...

Good question! Also, welcome aboard!

I would nominate Spa on Grand Prix 3, and on Grand Prix Legends.

Autumn mini-ring and Grand Valley East on GT1.

Deep Forest from GT3.

Industrial Zone on NFS:Porka is a good one. Loved that track. Wasone of the few tracks in that game in which you could really stretch the cars, and see what they'd top out at. 200mp/h, at night, without the headlights on :)

My favourites however, is the Complex String, in Gran Turismo 3, and the long highway [who's name escapes me..] in Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero.

Complez String, because it's the ultimate challenge in knowing you've set your car up well, imo. It's got everything you need to get a good general set-up. Used that track for all my testing.

The long highway in TXR:Z because it was such a buzz, dodging in and out of traffic, at night, with full beam on, being chased by a Viper, as I hit ovefr 240mp/h in my R34.

At the moment it would have to be on Toca Racedriver at Bathurst in the wet drivng the Konig C50.

Gawwwd I forgot I even had wipeout fusion!
Is that the track that has that huge fuggin drop?

Laguna Seca has a NASTY ******* drop.. I can't believe
anyone can learn to master that left / right thingy. It's just
too spooky...

Seattle Circuit on Gran Turismo 3 is my favourite.

Then Dolphin Cove in Need For Speed 4 High STakes was not bad.

Zone Industrielle is sweet because it is more or less straight so you can top out your car, but there are still some kinks to makie it entertaining.

Complex String is of course the penultimate course of all though.

Cote de Azur is my favorite track from all the racing games Ive played...It took me soo long to get good at it you cant not like it...

Great track! The other day did a complete loop going over the top of the hill!
Would love to see that track in gt4 :)

Well im an aussie and i think gt should definitily have bathurst!! it is such a good track!!
i played that v8 supercars game on ps2 with the wheel and it really sucked!! the cars just kept on fishying out of a corner and locked up when i braked!! i mean you dont see that happening when you watch the races do you?? so its pretty unrealistic. Dont like it at all, apart from bathurst!! :D

Yeah I tottaly agree. I posted here a while ago that TOCA really sucks as far as realistic driving is concerned! :)

Spa-Francorchamps in pretty much any F1 game.

Suzuka, likewise

Sega's Accropolis circuit for Virtua Racing was a favorite of mine at the arcades.

Le Mans in the old WEC Le Mans 24 acrade game. Narrow, but it's La Sarthe in all it's glory.

Trial Mountain and Rome Full for the GT series.

For me it was a track from SBK2k1 (Super Bike 2001). The name of the track escapes me at the moment, i will have to reinstall it and check. But on that note, damn you!! now i won't stop playing that game for weeks...there goes finishing a few games i've been itching to beat and uninstall :P

This is because the cars dont have ABS so If you slam down the brakes like you do in GT2/GT3 the wheels lock up thus sends you carreering into the barriers. You have to either brake lightly at first and then heavily later, or simulate ABS by pressing the brake down in rappid succession so you can still turn at the same time.

BTW how did you flip on the strait??
