Before anyone links it, I'm aware of the favorite car thread. I'm asking this for JDM specifically. I'm looking for variety, as the game is becoming boring for me. I don't have many JDM cars (or Japanese cars at all, for that matter), so I figured that would be a good place to start.

So, what's your favorite gem from the land of the rising sun?

I love my EK Hatches a great lightweight car, I own one IRL too.

I recommend anything honda or the Toyota Celica or Supra.

Choose a skyline, any skyline theres allot lol.

Those are a good place to start. Personally I like the Nissan Primera. Its not a premium but its still worth a drive. The Micra is though.

I can't just name 1, so I'll start with this:

How much do I like the R35 GT-R? My username was inspired by that color, and I am also a Nissan fanboy, so that 370Z in the background is also on my list.

here's mine. I'll just post a little blurb about each choice.

Honda:
EG6-I just wish it was premium
NSX-Both the 91 and the newer one

Nissan:
R32-runt of the Skyline litter(R32-R35)
R34-I'm a fan of the Nismo Z-Tune which sadly isn't in the Game
S15-it's been my go to drift car for years
S13-Akina Speedstars
GTR V Spec-Godzilla

Mitsuibishi:
Evo VI TME(and all variations of the TME 99/00)-there a bit cooler then scoobys IMO

Subaru:
BRZ- Toyotaru
S206 Impreza-one word Nurburgring
WRX STi Spec C [Hawkeye]- not really a fan of the newer hatch body style

Toyota:
Initial D AE86-no other reason then Initial D
"Race"GT86- fun car, built it to look like the newer version of the Initial D 86
GT86-needed a Sister build to my BRZ STi build. (again a Toyotaru)

it's hard to honestly pick JDM for me,as I'm more of a EUDM guy.

Obvious answer is obvious:

I kinda wanted something less powerful. I need to leave my current collection, which is classic muscle cars, which have a lot of power. I'm going for lightweights, really. I know this is pretty light for it's power, but still.

Sorry, I just love this car so much. I had 15 LFAs on GT5.

You're asking us what our favorite JDM cars are anyway.
Oh, I know, I never meant you shouldn't have posted it, just that I personally won't be going for it.

Seems as though the Honda/Acura NSX is a popular choice. And Civics. I think I'll be going with the Supra, 2000GT, and maybe an NSX.

Fair enough.

Silvia Varietta, it may look like regular Silvia but it's actually cabrio, not many of those were made IRL. Loved that car since GT3, I wish I could own white one someday.

Also don't forget the huge variety of K cars.

Didn't even need to think about this one--R30 Skyline. I prefer the Turbo RS's appearance over the RS-X Turbo C but it's hard to argue with the intercooled car's performance.

Either the RX-7 (Type R Bathurst or the AE Amemiyas are personal favourites) or the NSX. (I love the Raybrigg NSX race car as well!). If we're talking less high powered cars then it has to be an EK Civic. I much prefer Euro cars but I've had lots of fun with these.

There's a pretty extreme Micra (goes by a different name that I can't remember right now ) in the Nissan dealership. That thing is loads of fun!

@BerettaGTZ There is no Eunos Cosmo in the game and the thread was created specifically for cars that are.Maybe you should either head over to the Cars in General forum to discuss your appreciation for it, suggest it in one of the numerous car addition suggestion threads (of which this most definitely is not one), or, if you're simply butt-hurt about it not being in the game, plead your case in the Epic Whining and Crying thread in the GT6 feedback forum.

I think he was just saying the Eunos in general, and slyly stating that was his favorite variant.

But Miatas/Mx5s/Eunoses are pretty cool.

Think of Eunos as you would big-body Chevrolets from the 70s and 80s with their obvious Buick and Oldsmobile counterparts. Eunos cars were manufactured by Mazda to be sold in specific regions and included cars not unique to the brand such as the Roadster and the Lantis, but also the fabled three-rotor twin-turbo 20B-REW Cosmo on a platform similar to the 929 sedan. It's a car that I too would like to see in the game but there are other places to discuss it.

Where did butt-hurt come from? :boggled:

:@:Dagger311 Anyways, check out the Subaru BRZ or Sprinter Trueno if you like RWD-cars. :D

Will do, thanks. Tuning a Shelby GT350 for track, going to mess with it a little then pick my first JDM. I still think I'll go with the premium Supra.

I just saw it as a possibility. Notice I saved it for the end as well, as the first possibility (favorite JDM car in general) seemed to be the most likely one.
