I was bored so I decided to ask everybody what point of view they use when they drive on GT2. I use the first person because you can see what's behind you.

I voted for 3rd person, just because it´s cooler to drive that way,but I drive better in1st person wiew, but it´s not that cool because I can´t see my sexy GT-one:rolleyes:

well, i drive better in 3rd person (maybe because i like to oversteer a littel). i like far view to see any nearby AI. i can always use R1 to see the far cars.

I use close up 3rd Person for all games, because the bumper cam 1st person isn't very realistic and annoying. If a game ever has a dashboard view I always choose that.

In GT1 and 2, my favorite is the "third person" (far) view, tho lately when I go back to GT2 I find myself using the inside view more often. But when things get hairy and the traffic gets to slammin, I'll instinctively switch back to the far view.

I like to use the veiw thet you can not see the car while you are using it, I am better with it. Though if I amm realy far ahead and know that I'll win I'll use the chase veiws.

3rd close, for precise drifting and traction awareness and I feel I can chose my line through the corner better from 3rd person. I like the closer view better except when racing the Escudo. The close view puts me more in the action. I wish there was a dashboard view. I don't like a front bumperview as it doesn't feel natural.

1st person is the closes to realism I can get. Like hondaracer said, I'd also prefer an in-dash car view but that'll prolly never happen on GT. The best in-car dash view I know is GT Legends, in addition to the dashboard you can also see your feet down there revving the pedal ^.^
