post them up :) Sorry if there is a post regarding this already, but I couldn't find it searching. I have been paying alot of attention to the special conditions event races lately and I will admit, the snow/ice races are totally kicking my ass. I can handle the dirt fine, but I haven't found a win to win on the snow or ice yet. Hard rips me a new one everytime. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks :nervous:

lancia S4 rally car is also my car of choice for dirt and snow/ice. I am not good with it (obviously) but it has yielded me the most success as of yet.

The Evo Super rally car....I used that to complete all the rally races except the wet/dry roads. I adjusted the gearing a bit so I start in second gear, it fits my driving style perfect.

Same. This car can win all of the hard rallies relatively comfortably, the only challenge may be Grand Canyon...

The 206 Pug did it for me! Fitted my drivingstyle like a glove, for both dirt and snow/ice! Just take it as it comes when you obtain it and go!

Peugot 206 here as well, with a lot of tweaking and maybe an engine upgrade; just make sure you adjust the gearing to stay above turbo lag. The subaru (The one you buy, with the neat side mirrors) is particularly good for the ice rallies. And of course the super evo, but that's no fun:P

The Hyundia Rally Race Car is super sweet. But, I never race in Rally event races, because they suck. It's a lot of fun on the regular courses.

I also love the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Rally Race Car. Those two would be my favorite.

Peugot 206 Rally and Ford RS200 Rally all the way. Except for the Tsukuba Wet, i've completed all the races using both.

the best rally cars ever are group b monsters!!
pitty gt didnt add in a audii quattro short wheelbase rally car from the ninetees but any way ide hav 2 say the car i like 2 drive most is......
205 t16 evo!!!! gets sideways so easy and so eaSY to control .....NOT THE FASTEST BUT THE "FUNEST"

I AM NEVER LISTENING TO YOU GUYS AGAIN!!! :P

i just bought that Super EVO and my old Lancia will smoke it. :(

Just because its faster doesnt mean much on the dirt/snow, IMO its the control you have.I didnt have to go really fast to win the races. I was just able to keep the lead.

it beats it in speed and control IME

As long as you can win...thats all that matters. A lot of the cars can be the "best" car...its all about the driver and finding the right settings to win. You still dont have to have the "fastest" car to win.

$1.35 million is way too much to pay for a rally car, IMO. My favorite is actually the Ford Escort Rally car. Properly tuned it can tear ass, and can even beat the great Evo VIII Super Rally. For snow, I stuck with my Celica rally car (the onee with the popup headlights and weird brushguard)

Money isnt a factor....just win more, dont be cheap. Are you saving for a house or something? The super rally car is easy to beat, Im talking about a car that fits personal driving style. Like I said you can get a bunch of cars to whip up on the races, its a matter of finding the setting you work best with.:)

for snow I think a lot of cars can win. Fast and overpowered cars like the group b rally cars actually make it hard for yourself. A 300hp rally car is more than enough it has better cornering abilities as well. I can only give one tip, the snow is not so hard, just mind your throttle. In a 300hp car I hardly ever went full throttle on the ice. Only makes your wheels spin, doesn't give you good times. Brake in time, and really really important to ease on the throttle when you go into the corner. I'd say 30% of throttle is maximum to get you through the corners and hairpins. Slow at first, but when you get to know the course a lot better you will win eventually.

Good morning,

I have won most of the special condition races with a non-rally car, believe it or not. I keep winning rally cars, but never use them. I guess I've become accustomed to using my 501-hp Subaru Impreza. Even on the hard levels I'm not having a whole lot of trouble (as long as I'm racing against the right computer opponent). In all honesty, I just go full speed into the turns and bounce off the corners...not head on, of course. I can't drift worth a darn.

The Escudo dirt trial car is pretty meaningless if you ask me. Over 1000-hp and not much turning ability doesn't spell success. I got it up to 260mph on the test track, though.
