Whats your Favorite Truck????
Mines the 1997 Dodge T-Rex Concept Truck

I like my 4-cylinder '99 Ranger XLT. It's not fast, can't haul much, and there isn't much room, but it's mine. However, it can do some mean burn outs since I convinced my parents to let me get a manual transmission. I love that truck. :)

Nexus Maelstrom

The T-Rex. That looks cool for a truck. 6 wheels, didn't notice that 'till then. Wouldn't mind going bush bashin' in that. :D

The Avalanche sucks a** :yuck:
That truck came out before Lutz came to the rescue.

My type of trucks (no concept trucks):

Drag-stripper

:dodge: Ram SR-T (a pickup w/ a :viper: engine)

Luxo-cruiser

Lincoln Blackwood

Overoll practicallity

GMC Sierra Denali

My Overoll choice (the Winner)

GMC Sierra Denali
It can manuever like a compact car in the parking lot (Quadrasteer), luxurious enough for the valet (semi-Denali features), decent towing capacity (est. 10,000 ibs.), "just right" performance (325hp w/ 370 lb-ft of torque) & easy to drive it anywhere. Clearly my best choice. :)

I like the :mazda: B-Series trucks like the B-4000. Also the old :mazda: REPU, or Rotory Engined Pick Up. Now there colector items, and people are putting 13Bs in them and raceing them...

How bout Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi/Fuso, MAN, Hyundai, Asia, Daewoo, Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, and Leyland. And those other big rigs. :)

and Tantra, was it Tantra? You know in the Parid Dakar rally, there was one that was like Tantra I think...

Land Rover Defender is extremely capable, but totally unreliable. And the 188-hp 4.0-liter is the second-worst engine in my lifetime (first worst goes to the Chevy Astro / GMC Safari's 4.3-liter V-6).

Nissan Frontier is, except for the Mitsubishi Mighty Max, the worst truck ever. Ever. And, yeah, the Tundra SHOULD BE the #1 full-size truck. God it's great. F-Series stinks, though. Did somebody say redesign?

No, no, I take that back. NOT ever!!! That's the Lincoln Blackwood! Then the damn Mighty Max. THEN the current-spec Frontier.

Hey M5, glad to see you a member here, enjoy your stay, and if you look down in this forum(automotive forum)you'll see a thread I made, Mazda club, join the club and I'll send you screensavers and stuff if you want...

Anyway, I'm not much of a truck person...I used to be cause years ago I was mesmorized by lots of suspension travel and going off roading...now it seems kinda odd cause I'm a fast type person, now I'd rather have a really fast 0-60 and handling, instead of seeing how steep of hills I can climb lol...

I Like the Late '70s "Little Red Express Truck". Stepside, dual chrome stacks, 360 under the hood(I'd rather have a 440 with a 6 pack).
As for a Semi Jag Man, I'll Go with a Peterbuilt or one of those Mack Tractor Trains you got down under.
