Yes. It just happened to me. UPS delivered my package to a known USPS scanning facility in Long Beach. It's the place USPS sends packages for 'inspection' when they think something is 'hinky.'

Funny, the package should have arrived in Ontario, and then dropped off at my home. But, it went to Long Beach, 65 miles away and then back to me. Ontario UPS center is about 6-8 miles from my home.
