feedback

i finally got a wheel, but i have one question for those who use one. do you play with feedback on or off? i find that my gear paddles dont work correctly when its on. when im turning somewhat close to full lock, the paddles dont allow me to shift down...or up. im wondering if its just my wheel that has this prob cuz if it is, imma return it immediately. plz reply cuz i wanna return it sooner than later.

Is it the blue one? If it doesn't have the GT insignia (sp?) on it, then that wheel has a lot of problems because of the transistors in there. Most of the people around here I guess use feedback because they need to have some in order to feel the road they are on.

I don't have the wheel, but I'm planning on buying the red Logitech one from Fry's Electronics. I just heard about the problems from other places and over here in GTP.

I hope I get the wheel, because I wannt challenge myself more. Then when GT4 comes out, I'll just get the new wheel that goes with the game :)

yeah hope u get it than send the improve vids ok . btw now im waiting for tokyo xtreme racer 01 ...its great more improve than before graphic same like kaido battle with oil & water temp.besides rain effect ....arhhhhcant wait ....still wait for gt4 ...

go here . gamefaqs.com under ps2 tokyo xtreme racer 01 board u all can see the movie of this game great . viper, audi, lamborghini ...great man.

I drive with feedback on, and also be sure to play with the steering assist because it makes a HUGE difference. In my opinion, Professional setting works best but not in qualifying mode (it feels sloppy in qualifying).
