Female race driver Laura Marie Gressler posted this yesterday on her instagram account:

I want the Chinese stig.

Some local Stig cousins certianly are more amusing than others.
I dont mind the German Stig with the hair looking out of the helmet, but I guess the trope of heads down Australia is more than overused.

It's massively photoshopped.

Top is original from GT, bottom is from Instagram.

Look at the distortion on the white sign bending down towards the waist as compared to it being aligned with the Audi sign in the original, and then look at the pillars above it on the grandstand, in the IG version the pillars are bent towards the driver whereas in the GT version they're straight.

It is unfortunate though. A female driver model would be very welcome, and is very overdue.

Well overdue! Whilst females are few in Gran Turismo, those who do participate should not be forced to play with a male avatar. Imagine if it was the opposite and all the males were forced to have female avatars... Nice
Absolutely. It's good to see things from the other perspective with fairness.

Edit: Photoshop or not, I thought avatar gender choice would have been a thing by now.

If PD ads 1 gender, gender can no longer be assumed anymore as it is for the original, generic figure.

Therefore, a can of worms would be opened - why stop at 2 genders? Won't the other 70 be offended?
So original! Wanna mention helicopters too?

No, having another option for a more feminine body type isn't going to offend anyone. A masculine body type isn't the "default", though it's easy for men to think so as men have been considered the "default" for so long.

OK, screw it. I thought it'd be good for a laugh but the poo reactions have put me off.

Gonna delete my silly attempt to be funny. Should've known this'd be a hot-button issue, which was kinda my point in the first place.
