When fans called for their participation in the Group B rally category, Ferrari turned to their representative in Pauda - Michelotto (The 'M' in the GTM moniker) to build three rally purposed 308's. As the project developed and improved, Ferrari took more of an active interest in it, and partnered with Michelotto to make the car more extreme.
The ultimate specifications of the 308 GTM are a 363 horsepower, 3 litre V8, five speed manual gearbox, and kerb weight of 840 kgs. Its maximum speed is 168 mph.
We currently have some very cool Ferrari's on GT, but a rally car from this legendary marque certainly wouldn't go amiss...
