Hey Bazz, thanks, glad you enjoyed video. Yeah, the 330 sounds cool. The upshift & downshift sounds are different when using H-Pat compared to paddles...much more alive with H-Pat & clutch.

Thanks mate. Yeah, that Audi R10 was really fast and I couldn't drive away from it. It was menacing in the rearview mirror & stuck to my exhaust encouraging me to make a mistake for most of the lap....

....but the Ferrari 330 just had enough to hold on for a win by 0:00.004. Very exciting race, and very satisfying to beat an R10 with an old Ferrari using H-pat & clutch.

Hehe, one of the best one's I've seen, especially after having a go at it with H-Pat and clutch myself. Yes, cars like the 330 and those of the same era feels way WAY more alive for some reason. Counter steering that car with one hand, while downshifting and braking is .. Well it's almost like it's a new game.

Very nice vid. Im a bit puzzled why you used ABS on a car that old when you went to the trouble of using the clutch and the H shifter, but good driving and an entitaining watch all the same 👍

Hi Bazz, yeah, I'm finding that paddle shifting is quicker for lap time, but H-pat & clutch is so much more fun, satisfying to get right & exciting...even when missing gear and getting stuck in Neutral at crucial moments. Car's physics/dynamics take on another attitude.

Hi Stune, thanks mate, glad you enjoyed video. Simple reason for using ABS...I'm just not good enough yet to pull together a fast clean crash-free racey lap with ABS=0. Brake pedal on my G25 is quite sensitive & I'm having trouble braking efficiently without ABS for a decent lap....but I think that has more to do with lack of practice with ABS=0 & getting used to ABS=1.

Am going to tweak brake bias & go ABS-free...will post video if I manage any decent race/lap.

I think online racing quality will improve in a few months when only hardcore GT5 racers are left. Remember the first few months after Prologue came out...it was lunacy online, but a year on after its release I had some amazing close races & met many Zen drivers who respected my car, their cars, each other's racing line & the principle of Good sports. All will be good...but for now it's levelling up time....and the WRS qualifier.
