I've got a Ferrari 599 '06 with the following specs:

Weight reduction 1
ECU Tuning
Stage 1 Engine tuning
sports intake manifold
racing filter
sports exhaust
catalytic converter: sports
titanium racing exhaust
all drive train parts
customizable suspension:
ride height: -14 -14
springs: 9.5 9.0
dampers (E): 5 4
dampers (c): 4 3
roll-bars: 4 5
camber: -2.0 -1.5
toe angle: -.3 -.25
brakes 7/5
tires: sports hard

It's almost there for a speed track setup. Couldn't find and 599 threads. Shaved 4 seconds off my time by lowering the ride height more, softening the springs and dampers.

I had only been riding a civic type r ek 97 with max mods (not racing mod) at 381bhp, but now the ferrari is at 730bhp. I'm finding the sweeping speed curves are great on the 599, but for medium curves the car just slides out the curve at the apex/middle of the curve. It goes into the curve fine, but the mid/out just slides out (the whole car itself, not just the rear oversteering).

What am I missing? This is my first 'exotic' or i guess high HP car so I know handling won't be the same as the civic, but there must be more control in turns so that it doesn't slide out and hit the wall or do the big out of control 's' slides if you barely compensate.

Also, will anything need to adjust as the weight is trimmed and more HP added?

If there is already a 599 thread please let me know, but I couldn't find it.
Thanks!

Get an LSD initial torque, acceleration torque, deacelleration torque are key for theses monster hp cars, especially if your going to add more hp or the cars will wipe out if you look at them. Play with the LSD until you can get the car stable under reasonable throttle, not that any amount of LSD will help you if your trying to just take turns way to fast with the throttle floored, but LSDs work wonders.

Get sports softs or even slicks for speed runs or just having fun tires make a world of difference.
