Lance was a great "responder" to drug therapy but not a great natural talent on the bike. "Der Kaiser" Ullrich was more naturally proficient, he along with about 25 riders were caught in 2006 with bags of their red blood cells stored up and ready to infuse, along with drugs like IGF-1!

but really the evidence would not be good for the UCI (Cycling's governing body) if it were to come out (taking bribes from large teams). It will be interesting if Lance allows Johan Bruyneel's case to go to arbitration, if it does the evidence becomes public! He must not want that.... It would be more like "we might as well loose". Bruyneel wrote a book called we might as well win. ;)
So whats the problem then if he and 25 other riders were doing it, it leveled the playing field, and like Gian said, others were doing it too so the CIA (FIA of cycling) can't award the wins to anyone else, then they shouldn't strip Lance's(either everyone gets penalized or no one does - double standards unacceptable in sport). I read that he was using and dealing too AND he is not going to appeal. He might not want to get into deeper waters but its already out and all the others must be punished too!!!

Ullrich & the rest were all punished & shamed, except for Lance. Its Lance's turn!!

Some riders (Lance being an extraordinary example) respond to drug therapy incredibly well. With blood doping and or epo use the one's who have a naturally low hemoglobin count will benefit the most, Lance had a lowish natural hematocrit or packed red cell volume. He probably saw a 25% increase in his sustainable power with his doping, while other riders more talented than he only saw a 10% increase.

Its like when your playing Gran Turismo and you have 2 cars, one car on stock settings with no tuning is faster than the other. With tuning the slower car becomes the faster car. :ill:

Statistics can often send the wrong messages, this comment stuck out for me.

Seemingly the % their performance increases is mostly irrelevant in the bigger picture, it's their final performance figure which would be most telling. For example if we arbitrarily ranked performance as a number from 1 to 10 (10 being perfect) and prior to doping lance would see an 8 and some of the more talented guys would be a 9. After doping let's say they all have 10s. The % increase would be greater from 8 to 10 than it would be from 9 to 10 even though they're at similar performance levels.

Hopefully that makes sense, statistics are one of those things which are a pet peeve of mine the way they're typically conveyed. :)

Not to take away from your point, it's very interesting, I'd just love to see the statistics in a more telling context. Think of it this way, since my performance would be ranked as a 1 a jump to 5 after doping would make my % increase bigger than all their's (because they're closer to the performance maximum) even though their overall performance is far greater. Ultimately it would be misleading to someone looking at % increases compared to where they were instead of where then end up relative to max performance.

That said, since his body naturally used less hemoglobin perhaps spiking it meant his body had greater gains because without doping his body could naturally function on an elite level with less hemoglobin meaning it's more efficient. If it's more efficient then he would see greater gains than others, I can see that argument. Interestingly though he not only had greater gains starting from lesser talent, he also showed his performance max was greater as well - 7 times in the hardest race in the world.

Edit:

Go to your router config and either put your ps3 in a dmz or make sure UPNP is on so there aren't any connection delays. Most of my friends who have connection issues have fixed the problem this way. I recently found out my router was having problems, which was the troubleshooting equivalent to finding a needle in a haystack. Good luck!

So what are the full fuel mortal times to beat?

Wilso, not to burst your bubble, but I doubt there is a store in MoA that isn't in a mall or have a clone elsewhere near you. State Fair has interesting people watching. My parents go every year it seems. I haven't gone in well over a decade.

Good practise race guys.

Twas ok

Did a 1:22.5

Dahm immortal !! How'd you know I love street circuits so much :embarrassed:

Yes Street circuits are nice.
We make after the last Race one week break.
Then 3 Pre Saeson Races after that the new saeson start.

Iam in joe the time is good for me.
Stock F10 cars??

Awesome that you can race Saturday. SPEC = no parts, no tuning. The car however can and should be broken in to full power of 726 hp.

Speaking of tuning, I'm not sure if my setup on my F10 sucks or it's just me being brake-happy while driving the F10 :banghead: . Any help, please?
