I think we should be able to change team names. Obviously in real motorsports, teams are purchased, sold, names are changed and sometimes teams are shuttered. There's no reason that drivers can change teams with the breeze, but the team names can't change. It shouldn't be very often, and maybe require a core member vote, but I think it's a good idea.
Besides, I have real F1 team commentary (one small reason I went with Lotus). Williams, McLaren, Sauber would all be decent choices. I don't have a ton of those teams commentary, but it wouldn't be hard to find.

We make it like in iRacing there are also always the same team names thats much better.

I know that has been your goal to keep Teams consistent, but most drivers weren't around when the Teams were chosen. Since team name changes happens in real life I don't see why it can't happen here.

Oh my dear old Team Lotus, good drivers keep leaving. Kinda like Sauber IRL, drivers like Kimi, Massa, Vettel, Fisichella and the guy who thinks he was God's gift to mankind Jacques Villeneuve. All i wanted was a few grid girls in my motor home as part of my contract.
Anyways, this whole people changing teams as often they like is not cool for some of us that do the background work, but then having said that, last time i checked we were living in a free world where people can do what they like. Unless of course we get a new sign up from North Korea.

Yep, Team Lotus will struggle to maintain it's perennial 2nd place in the constructors.
People can change teams, I just think the musical chairs every season is a bit silly. Obviously losing a teammate (read: #1 driver) has something to do with it, but I would mention it either way.
From my perspective its odd to change that often, but the driver's lineup changes frequently too which changes it for us. Immortal and I are the only drivers to have started on the same team we currently run with. Endless has stuck with Ares as Manager and periodic driver. I think Immortal and I are the only two to have started every championship race too. In a way we are the only two team owner/drivers. Not much a competition, but there you go.
How's that driver photo editing going btw?

Well, i will need all the drivers to send me their photos if its gonna happen. Also, we do have Vettel Types that change their racing suits and helmets more often than i change my underwear, i will be royally p:censored:d off if i spend all that time doing the photos only to get some 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 to change it every race. i mean look at how much drivers are changing seats, they will come up with some story about how they got that suit as a DLC or won by having a World Record and i cant tell them when and where to wear it.Oh, and how is the video coming along, a little birdie told me it will be done by tomorrow???

I have a slightly higher stake in my team than others, aside from Immortal. Motorsports drivers change teams, it just seems like a lot of changes. That and as you have mentioned I have nothing to offer a #1 driver, that gets podiums every week.
Yes, I wasn't there for many practices/preseason races. So I said championship races.
I am partially joking. I have no immediate need for them, but since you do the photo editing it may be a good idea anyway. I know what you mean on the suit/helmet changes.
As far as the video is concerned, commentary and replays are done up to Lap 35. I still need (maybe) to create a exit with drivers and constructors points. I may have jumped the shark. Not sure. I had time to fill and created a story. That and it's loaded to the gills with funny stuff. At least funny to me.

Its odd that everybody drives the same exact car with 2 liveries that vary about as much as the redness in my Adidas shirt!
I need a 'team' to drive on...unless I'm not allowed to race here...
I am sure you can race dude, i think the only problem is that there is currently no team with two free spots to put you and aughablo in.
Also, aug has a reputation of getting DC'd and you have one for not showing for most race
probably why IMMORTAL said that he will put you as a guest driver. :idea:You can always start up a new Team for the both of you but based on your driver line up, it might end being a Ghost team :Sly: I'm pretty sure it will be sorted out before we get to pre-season and once everyone has picked their teams.

Playing F1 2012 career mode in the HRT on legend. So far I've gotten some 16ths in most the races but then got 3rd on Monaco!! Amazing how their AI cant do slow corners the same way they do fast corners.
Tire wear is terrible with the low tier cars, but I like the challenge even if I need flashbacks on some of the tracks due to the insane fishtailing with codemasters "test drive" style physics.
