I was playing earlier and noticed that there is another gauge that moves, next to the rev counter. (not the speedo!!)

As it hasn't a turbo and from what i can see it looks to be an oil pressure guage? As it rises and falls with the revs. I can't quite make out the little sign on my tv set?

As in the below pictures. (sorry for the bad quality). If PD are going to put in working gauges that would be cool.

In the skylines i think there is one below the rev gauge, but i dont think it is boost gauge... because it doesnt respond like one, could be oil pressure as well.

As per balang_479's comment, i can confirm the Nissan Skyline also has one.

Has anybody else also noticed that in the Mercedes AMG (can't remember the model number!) that has the auto box alters the revs if you sit there with the Accelerator and brake at the same time. (goes from 800rpm to 1200-1400)?

I think i must be playing to much to notice these things!!

If a oil pressure guage moves, then its broken mate, or the engine is heating up! It should only rise once till the oil stabilizes at the "recommended" temperature! 👍

Defiantly not, you are right that it does change when it gets hotter, but it does change with the revs. As the oil pump is often run of the crankshaft and so there will be greater pressure at higher revs.

Stop spreading false information. Have you ever seen an oil gauge?

The F40 has an oil pressure gauge that moves also. Theres also a Fuel gauge visible beneath the HUD in the F40 which would be awesome for endurance races in GT5, going HUDless and using the dash entirely. Cool find, never noticed it before this thread!
