If it is 40 -50 dollars, go for it if you are really on the budget, I think it should work with GT5P, but not too sure.

I would really save up for the Official DF GT wheel or Fanatec wheel, both are 130-150 and both wheels are really best wheels for the money will add tons of simulation over the Ferrari.

my advice is to go with the dfgt,i got one from game around two months ago and trust me,its a fantastic bit of kit, worth every penny and a snip at that price,game-online and instore £79.99

its more paddle buttons and than shifters but same thing really, the g25 has paddles but very expensive if your on a budget, its got fantastic feedback too

quattro post.. hmm are you an AUDI fan? hehe

and good luck with saving bit more for decent wheel..

Even if you are on tight budget..
So if you now have 50 pounds lets say, dont buy the Ferrari wheel, or the DFP... save up for another month and get the DF GT wheel.. It's as good as G25 but without the shifter and clutch peddals.. But really worth it..

That way DF GT will 100% compatible with GT5 game.

Really man, dont buy crappy wheel now, save up and buy it even in two months.. you will see how GT5P is one of the best sims on consoles.

If you're gonna buy a wheel, you shouldnt go lower than the DFGT at this pt. I agree with what most people have said here. I am suspicious of the pedals (DFP had crappy pedals). I have seen 1 or 2 threads on people complaining about them dying, but I'm not sure if those are rare cases.

I hear many times G25 dies as well, with other troubles..

Everything dies.. go for the DF GT.. wont hurt ya, keep receipt if it brakes, but for sure it will be long lasting over the Ferrari one..

My wheel just came today in the mail. The Fanatec wheel is soooo much better than the DFP. I've never tried the DFGT so i can't comment on the force feedback, i can say that the Fanatec wheel is much quieter than the DFGT, though. the Force Feedback's great, and it has that new car smell.

I got my G25 since 2 years and so far nothing has broken or worn out. 👍

Logitech did a great job with that wheel in my opinion.

Congrats on new fanatec wheel

Oh yeah I have my G25 for year and half, just bit wear and tear, but still does it job.

Hey lpb-nissan

You can always buy the Fanatec Carrera wheel it's not out yet, but you can start saving up, it be out in month or two.
Its 150 USD, it's way better then any DFGT wheel, it compares to more expensive G25.

Best bang for the buck

i look into them it just i really want a wheel to have a better experience while playing gt5p and i read some where that it can help you driving in real life i got a year and a few months till i can drive so practice makes perfect i h8 english driving laws im 15 atm so i would be allowed to drive in lots of other countries i

So Fanatec wheel is your best option, for one, because it has better real feel pedals and CLUTCH, and 6 +1 shifter and sequential shifter if you wanna practice on manual clutch! So save up for a couple of months and pre order the Fanatec wheel, its also 900 Degree steering something Ferrari wheel does not have.

Here is video preview...

For 150 USD bucks.. you can't go wrong.
150-200 Euros..

I think to pre order it, you will have to send email to Fanatec because last time I check it was still no in the STORE page.

PS
SO whatever wheel you get, and you get the practice.. real life is always diffrent over GT games, so don't go racing on the streets ;) haha

No problems I can think of. It's a great budget wheel.

I had one for a while and as others have said, it's nearly as good as a G25, at a much better price.

I only sold mine (as well as my beloved G25) to make my purchase of the Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S wheel, and Clubsport Pedals, a little less painful.

;)

Some say the wheel itself might be better over G25, especially in GT5P because its 100% FFB support.. While G25 and GT5P is bit weak I must say.

Other thing thats wrong is Pedals compared to the wheel they will feel cheep, but you will forget about it in no time.

Congrats!!!

you will have no troubles at all with the DFGT,its a great wheel and yes,the pedals are no way as good as on the G25,but,if like me,you have never used a wheel before, trust me,you will love it and it feels great when you play a racing sim,i wish you luck and really hope you get the same enjoyment that i did when i got my first ever wheel.
