Just two actually.
1.If you turn off BoP in car settings does AI use stock cars as well?
2.Why is that If I choose opponent class to be let's say N400 then I see cars of various higher classes like 911 GT3, 458 Italia, GR3 road cars etc?
Btw. It would be cool to have multi class arcade races.

1, see number 2.
2, opponents have reduced power (more weight?) to bring them to that level.

It's all neither here nor there as they are way too easy to beat anyway even using lower class cars.

BOP sets all cars to a predetermined BOP level. Phil is wrong gas N _____ classes are not balanced by BOP by default. PD detunes/tunes cars to fit into the N class, BOP further adjusts them. If you pick GR 3 for example, running with BOP off will allow you to race cars stock, as they came out of brand central. If you turn BOP on, it shifts to PD's current BOP settings. The issue with all the N classes is that PD hasn't really refined the BOP for the N class cars at all since the beta. In the beta we would have GR 300/500 races daily with a mixed field and PD changed the BOP a number of times. PD got lazy and decide to just run one makes after the first few N300 classes. People were picking an 500 car and detuning it to N 300 , and it was dominating the field. The issue is The N classes can cross over and thus BOP would have to be set 5-6 times for EVERY CAR ( some cars can go from n 500 to n 700 or n 200) . This could be fixed online in sports mode if N 500 cars could only run against other N 500 cars, and PD would adjust the BOP there. The reason I suspect this was never done , is that fields in both sport and arcade mode in certain N classes only have 2-3 cars
