hello everyone:)

now i'm gonna tell u the basic tune for FF HONDA DRAG in Road Course indy

i just wanna help people who get confused with FF DRAG TUNES, i hope my base tunes can make u better in the strips bro:):dopey:

maybe i'm a new member in this forum but , 5 month i have been playin in ff honda drag racing, i'm not sayin i'm good or fast in FF HONDA DRAG RACING, but i just wanna help ppl who get confused, tired or something in FF HONDA DRAG RACING,

my psn name is : GARUDA_AlmiSR , i'm in 6SPD RACING TEAM ( 1 second faster ) did u know me ? lol just kidding,

ok this is the basic tune :

Important :

** its only 1/4 mile buddy, you no need topseed, you only need TORQUE, maybe lotta of ppl know about this
-Big weight = Better at launch ( because if you added weight you got more grip )
- But Big weight must have Big toque = Close Ratio ( Custom Transmission )
- and dont forget to tune your LSD and Suspension

Weight : Add some weight to your car , dont add too much because if you add too much you got slow on top , your car must got balanced at launch and top, More practice More speed

BALLAST POSITION : all the way to front = -50

TRANSMISSION : like i say "you no need topseed, you only need TORQUE", = close gear ratio

1 gear : All the way to left . why ? its reduce your car from spin too if you launch with 1st gear *i always launch with 1st gear

2 gear : Make it close with 1st gear, make it good without lag and 2nd gear its really really important buddy, move it to the right

3 gear : make it around 70% -90% from the right bar, so move it to the right

4 , 5 , 6 gear : All the way to right, why ? because 4 5 6 just for finishing your run, so your 1st 2nd 3th gear really2 important for you car

AND TOPSPEED : I ALWAYS USE AROUND 129-133MPH, MORE CLOSE MORE TORQUE, BUT DONT TOO CLOSE, KEEP TRYING TO FIND YOUR BEST TOPSPEED FOR YOUR CAR

SUSPENSION :

Ride Height: min/max
Spring Rate: min/max
Extension: max/min
Compression:min /max
Anti-roll bars: 3/6
Camber : 0.0 / 0.0 ( I ALWAYS USE LIKE THIS, BUT IF THINK CAMBER CAN MAKE YOUR CAR GOT BETTER RUN , ITS OKAY, KEEP TRAYING )

Toe angle :0.20 / -1.00

LSD : You added weight, you tune your tranny and suspension, and dont forgot this one "LSD", To helping you get some torque

this the number for LSD i always use this :

-60
-60
-5

And dont forget to use RACING SOFT TIRES

easy rite? :):)

so that's the basic tune for ff honda drag race, i hope u like it and enjoyed :)

oke if you think u good and fast you can add me and Race me to find out 👍

DOM SAY : Aight o'Connor let see what you got:mischievous:

Vairy Nice (Borat). But, LSD does nothing. And dampers are meh (usually will only change time by 0.001s). Otherwise nicely done. :)

Agree I've played around with it, default, full open, full locked or at the middle with the same results.

@MrGaruda
But good thread to help out fellow Honda tuners. correction, racers. I'm gona look for you at the drag rooms when I get online today in about 9 hrs, wich will be around 8.30 - 9 o'clock here. Just ant to try out my new tunes.

thanks for comment trybal :), yea maybe you rite, but i think LSD and Dampers can help your car to have better launch and better power at shift :)

thanks for comment c-losk, yea maybe lsd and dampers take little effect with your launch i think , different tuners always have a different tunes :)

yea bro i just wanna help ppl who New in ff honda drag racing to have basic to tune his car for race, because i always seeing some people got wrong tune in this Race, added a camber, long topspeed less torque, and something like that, no competition, no challenge:crazy:

oke bro i'll be waiting :)

Camber : DONT ADD CAMBER BRO, YOU NO NEED CAMBER, ITS JUST STRAIGHT RUN

YOU SHOULD ADD CAMBER TO THE REAR BRO, YOU NEED CAMBER, IT MAKES FASTER STRAIGHT RUN BRO.

Seriously though. I've found on RWDs that 2-5 degrees of front camber helps, and on FWDs that the same amount on the rear helps.

Oh and instead of saying "HIGH and LOW", just say min and max.

Really, FWD suspension is more like this:

Ride Height: min/max
Spring Rate: min/max
Extension: min/??? or max/??? (car-to-car basis)
Compression: ???/max (??? = doesn't actually change anything in terms of performance)
Anti-roll bars: 1/7 (even though it doesn't matter)

Toe: 0.00-0.25/-1.00 (for 1/4, longer runs should remove the rear toe-out)
Camber: 0.0/2.0-5.0

sure??? oh i always thinking camber its not working for drag racing, thx for information, and let me edit my post again, thanks bro

@ ROTARY JUNKIE like i say bro different tuners always have a different tunes , thanks for comment and thx for information buddy :)

Correct, with exception of adjusting the transmission to the powerband. Most FF are tuned the same way.

Prrrrrrrrretty much.

Only thing I've really seen change between different FWDs is how much (if any) ballast is best, gearing, and front toe.

Yup agree with fellow racers above comments, now on the dampers I found different g reactions from car to cars so a little trial should do to figure them out and the same with the ballast.

yea because dampers and spring rate depends your car weight i think

Bro, can you please, like, stop triple-posting bro? It's pretty annoying bro. Oh and cut down on saying bro, bro, it's not cool bro.

Me: hang on, I'll get my (inset lower powered car here)
After I win by 10-15 cars
