I Have been trying to set up an FF car to drift. but i find that once you start to turn the rear-end doesn't swing out so i pull the e-brake and it brings it out. Does anybody have an FF setting where you don't have to pull the e-brake to drift the car.

That's like asking if they have settings for not having to put gas in a car to make it run. (a non-electric, gasoline powered car that is)

Sorry man. :( you can't drift an FF without the hand brake. If you manage to get it side ways without the hand brake then when you counter steer you will get back striaght preventing you from sliding far enough to make the corner.

I made a setting that let the Civic SiR II do it on shorter turns without the e-brake (dont ask me how, it got erased), but it was kinda unstable on straightaways so i didn't really like it that much. It's gone now (sob)

try the spoon civic, its very light.and put sticky tires in the front and in the back maybe sims and you wont to have use the e-brake,well it works for me but you cant keep a long drift without the e-brake

Believe it or not, I drifted the Ford Taurus, and it wasnt even intentional! Back in the day wen i was a kid, i suped up a Taurus and made it a Nascar. I put soft tires on front and medium on rear, figurin that its FF and needed more grip up front. Then, I put maximum downforce on the front, since it was FF and would give more drive traction. I left the rear downforce around the middle. I took turns like a madman after that! Sliding sideways on the turns at trial mountain, SSR5, and even Midfield. Until I learned wat drifting was, I didn't think it was drifting, I thought it was power sliding. I hav restarted my GT2 game, and lost my drifting Taurus. :( :( :( :( :( dammit.....too bad......

This should b on ripley's believe it or not!

Amateurs..... drifting without the e-brake is childs play. Just faint and brake enough to get the rear loose and then control the drift with accelerator and very mild counter steer. If you still don't manage to do it, i can upload a clip with all the cauges on so you can see how it works. It's on apricott hill and i drive a honda integra.

Use these settings by Sheron, I setup a civic like this and it drives like a FR. I very rarely have to use the ebrake with this setup.

are u talking about the Escort rally car because ive done it with that

I was just wondering about it tho. i have been trying to set up 1 of my Pitz to drift but it wont go without the e-brake. :(

I juz found out, FF drifting is the easiest type of drifting EVER! I drifted my integra type r, no e brake. Drifted ENTIRE Trial Mountain. Man, that was fun.
