Is an engine rebuild and chassis rebuild after 20000 miles on the FGT enough? If I kept using it without it, would it keep losing performance?

I think when you rebuild the engine and chassi you get all the preformance back no mather how far you've driven..
You basicly turn the state of the car back to brand new.. :)

That would be up to your preferences, if you think the FGT handles notably worse after 20000 miles you could do it..
I don't think there is any set interval for this, the preformance gets worse and worse at a fixed rate so it is up to people them selves to say when they think it is bad enough..

Nope, the more mileage you put on a car, the more power and rigidity is lost forever - rebuilding engine and chassis only delays the process but it does not restore the car to brand new. So far I've seen permanent power loss of up to 10% on some of my cars with high mileage (X2010, FGT), even though I regularly rebuild their engines and chassis.

What I'm asking is, whether it's enough to rebuild it after 20,000 miles, or should I do it earlier?

As a guide:
Perform a fresh oil change.
If your HP is less then 935hp then its time to rebuild.
935hp seems to be the max HP for the FGT.

Rebuilding the engine and chassis is basicly giving you a brand new car, as if you had done 0 miles. 20000 miles is a long way to go without doing this, but if the car still works good then you dont need it. But for sure, after 20000 miles it will gain quite some performance from a rebuild.

This is not entirely true, a car with 0 miles has not been broken in yet and will have less HP then a car that has been driven past the break in period. So rebuilding the engine should bring you back to your peak HP (after break-in period, 935hp for FGT) not what your HP was @ 0 miles. If you have high mileage an engine rebuild may not bring you up to 935. (time for new car)

Simply put cars will eventually lose unrecoverable HP. If you are concerned with that then get multiple copies of that car.
