FGT for a different coloured FGT

I know these things come rare on here, but if anybody has a Formula GT that is NOT a hideous blue colour, and wouldn't mind having one that is a hideous blue colour (I sold that so well, didn't I), would you be willing to trade? tbh, I'm not even sure they come in other colours, but I'd love a white one, or yellow. Anyway, it's a long shot, but worth a try. PM me :)
 
How about you just let me rent your FGT? I'll send you a nice car (Lambo Miura?) You send me the FGT, and after I finish the race series, I will send it back.

Send my FGT to a complete stranger, in return for a car you've probably earnt in about 5 minutes using a birthday glitch? :P What's in it for me? I've already got the Lambo, too.
 
There are no other colours I think, I already bought 2 of them both where blue.

Well, maybe I have something else you would be interested in. Either way, you will most likely be trading with a total stranger, so I don't see how that is relevant. Since you share a greater part of the risk, I would send my car first. How about the IS-F Race Concept or a McLaren F1 in your choice of color? I'm not looking to rip anyone off, just want to move on in the game and the FGT is not showing up in the used cars for me. You basically get a free car.

Did you buy them both in your Used Car Lot?

If so, ALL cars only come in one color in your used car lot. I mean, there may only BE one color of FGT, but only one color showing up twice in your used car lot is normal.

I don't know what you mean, yes i bought them both in the used car lot. They where both blue.

And i've read a lot of post of people who had it, and they where always blue, never spoke someone with another colour.
So I think there are no other colours which you can buy.
 
I actually really like the colour, it is my favourite colour - UV blue :)
what i don't like is the the design, it's a bit plain, and if the FGT's in the PSP version are anything to go by then i know there's much nicer looking ones 👍
I have my 5 million creds in the bank so i'm just checking the used car lot after every few races. When one does show, i'll post what colour it is.

EDIT: just had a thought, if there is someone out there that DOES have an FGT, please do a one-make race and take a pic so we can see alternative colours. thanks!

I agree... I bet there aren't any other colors.

My point was that whenever you see a certain car in your used car lot, it's ALWAYS the same color. For instance, for E46 M3's, every single one that I see is Laguna Seca Blue. For '02 MINIs, Silk Green. For Saleen S7s, Silver. For BMW 2002's, Green... even though there are different colors for each.

Point being, if you saw one FGT in Blue in your lot, the second, third, forth, fifth, sixth... would all be the same color, even if there were 20 different colors available.

That's exactly what I thought. Why is it standard anyway? It's a one off unique car in the game, with 1 design... Couldn't they just put a week aside and set the staff to create a nice premium FGT for the game? It's dammmmn ugly.
 
andy, have you tried a one make race with it? or the actual championship? i refuse to believe that it's just the one :(

Yeah, they come in all sorts of colours... I'm doing a practice now to take a photo and show you.

to me, that means that you CAN buy other colours. just need to play the waiting game for one to show up

Unfortunately, like I mentioned before, if a Blue one shows up in your used car lot, that's the only color that will ever show up, it seems.
 
Which setting did you use for the gt championship?

Default one or something else, my gt seems to oversteer every corner. its uncontrollable.

Can't remember the order of the driver settings, because I'm in the middle of a race right now... But I remember in my head (starting at Traction Control)

As for the tuning settings... bump the downforce up by 10, and the top speed up to 242. That did the job for me, and it's really easy to control.

hmm i hope that's not the case. i mean i could get a different colour one in the PSP game and transfer it into GT5, but you can only use Portable Garage in arcade mode. fail.

Famine (and several others) have been meticulously documenting the Used Cars that flow through their lots, and there have been ZERO confirmed sightings of more than one color per specific model, as far as I understand... and my observation agrees.
