Whats the point it trying to get a set up for the FGT 001 when you cant even change the gears 1/7

Thanks for the info. I don't know as much about certain race cars as others do on this forum. That's why I asked and I don't own a FGT yet. And, can the FGT be raced on the Grand Turismo All Stars championship? I would hate to waste my credits.

I tried it in the first race of the championship, corners are tighter than the standard settings but fishtails under braking. I think the suspension settings need a bit more work?

Did you run this Formula Grand Turismo in the Grand Turismo All Stars championship? Also, with this tune, what did you have your Brake Balance set to? Thanks.

Yes, you can use the FGT in Gran Tourismo All Stars Championship. The car does very well on all of the.tracks in this series. I have the brakes set at F 3 R 1. Hope this helps. Let me know what you think of it. Also the gearing can be adjusted to 242 mph top speed and that will help out on the Ring and on R246 Tokyo.

KeeTom, yes you can set the Camber to positive value. Thank you, have you tried this setup? What did you like/dislike about it? Maybe I can fine tune it a bit with some outside input.

How come you didn't end of using Racing Soft tires?

I have tried and used the racing soft tires and they were just fine and will prob turn some faster lap times but I wanted a little more of a challange while racing the LMP cars. The racing medium tires require more throttle control to keep the rear from spinning up.

last night i did the Nurburgring Type v 4h in the polyphony Digital and i would like to know the fastest lap time

6.11.017 on lap 27
6.15.110 on lap 22
6.16.865 on lap 4

i would like some real feed back

Becouse i can see 5.??.??? lap if i can change gears 1to 7 and not just max speed

:tup:As soon as I saw the high spring rate, I knew this set up would be better than all of the others I'd seen. I have no idea what other people are thinking because the moment you begin to drive this beast you can tell that the rear is way too soft.

rooby-soo: I hope the update will quit your b***** now that you can change your precious individual gear ratios. You know what's a real disappointment? Your grammar, spelling and punctuation. Gear ratios are the least of your worries.

I shall try this particular tune tonight on the FGT World, I am not particularly fond of the ones found in the other threads either, but I appreciate everyone's effort to post their tunes with feedback.

Question about Toe Front tire, on track Cote-D'Azur, with those 270 degree hairpins, would a mild +toe in on the front initiate the turn better, and is it needed for a FGT racecar?

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i should try running a hard spring rate then BUT was that tuned on or offline cuz there'll be different on or off . i got a great online tune 4 mine i ran a 5:23 on Nurburg ring Nords in mine (online) so @ the time i thought a softer spring rate would help deal with the bumps bettr but ill try a harder one ,, ill post my tune a bit later

heres my online tune sofare as its still needs tweaking

downforce full
height F -4 B-3
spring F 17.0 B 17.2
dampers are 8 all around and sway bars are both 7
camber F 4.0 B 3.5
toe F-.15 B .55
brakes are full 10 front n back i may try 8 & 10
LSD 5/30/15

in a lounge on trial moutain i managed a 1:05.022 no TCS just ABS on @10 and it still has a problem spinning if u brake to late into a corner im still curious what a decent setting is for the dampers as compaired 2 the springs,, as 4 a harder spring setting i tried F 18 R18.2 and it seems to help a bit but seems a little less reactive my older setting when i did the 5:23 on Nur was F 16.5 B 17.2 other older settings included a front -30 toe . my 1st thought as 2 alternative setting was to to set al my tune's to what my F2007 had on it and tweak from to where we are now , well thts it 4 now ;]

Most fgt setting are old, need online set-up.Had a good one a week ago, lost it in bungled save data mistake, lost 30 cars went from lvl39 to 38 and a half.i continue my search

Havent found any tunes on the FGT except to win the FGT A-Spec race,a 3 legged dog could win that.Im also looking to understand what changes i need to make and what they will do.Im so lost im throwing set-ups i find on websites.Indy this week where any bad set up will be punished, especially sliding which i cant manage to subdew.Need to stop this thing from sliding......
