i went out and bought a Force RS just for the mod. and OMG the force effects are orgasmic. 
if you ever wanted to play the best race sim around, this is it. totally worth the d/l. hell, i remember when Quake2 came out, i sat up all night downloading the whole 200MB on my 33.6K modem. and it was so awesome, i went and bought the game the next week. if this game was for purchase, i'd buy it too
