Fiat is usually considered as unreliable and cheap manufacturer but majority of their cars introduced some sort of technical inovation at the time. I still see lots of Unos and Puntos on everyday basis with quite a mileage on them so they cope with such prejudices quite well, I would say.

The 125 comes from a period during which all Fiat models were depicted as reliable and promising. I'm going to vote to that name. 👍
