FIAT 500 Autuumn mini Set up helping please

Hi everyone.
I have a big problem.
I need a great settings, complete, for the fiat 500 tuned up to 280 hp, with hard sport tyres, no driving helping, just abs, in autuumn mini.
I have tried with several settings you posted for the fiat 500 in this forum, but my best lap it´s 44.5 and my team mates get 42-43, i don´t know how to get the right settings:indiff:
Any one can help me???
My id on psn is lady_ice if someone can give me a good settings , that can get 42-43 in autuumn i can send you a car if you want, i have lot of them and if i don´t have it i´ll buy it and i´ll send you.
Aspec level 33 bspec 40, so i don´t have any problem in buying any car and send it to the person who help me

no drive helps, just ABS allowed
if any one can give me a good set up to reach 42-43 sec, i give the xcar you want(well i think the limit is 1million to send a car) so if you want 2 cars i´ll send 2

hello lady, and an honor to help in this regard, I have not much experience, but I'm glad to help, advise only adjusting the exchange of su preference for remaining in the car this with a very good fit, always run with it and only change the exchange if you hit a good setup for this track tells you, you add on the PSN later, my nickname is CCR_BRA (all uppercase)
 
I don't know your driving style, but you may also want to try this:

yesterday i tried the ccr_br2´s settings i got 43.7 just 10 or 12 laps, GREAT, i was in 44.7 with my setup
today i´ll try killerjimbag´s setting and krenkme´s setting, thank you

I've run 44.9 on Comfort Soft tyres and only 261bhp. I'll keep my eye on this thread and carry on working on the car. I suspect with a little break-in, some oil and Sport Hard tyres, it'll run 42-43sec laps.

Anybody think we could slip this into the Tuner Wars thread..?? I'm sure a collective effort could produce exactly what the OP is after and more...

Well…the last time we had a collective effort, there was a sent of a smoldering flame between me a Krenkme as we couldn't agree on how much toe to be used was best. And the car was utterly hateful. It was utterly hateful to begin with, but still.

Still worth a go…I mean, how hard can it be?

Any kind of flaming is mitigated by handing the car over to Lady Ice and letting her decide what's best.

I'm just waiting for my wife to decide when she wants to watch some pants Barry Trotter wizard film thing and then I can fire up the PS3 on the small screen...

Yea, but last time, frosty wasn't around until the due date when he came on to pick it up. And how are you sure Lady Ice is a she, apart from the Lady in the name? :P

That's not what I meant. :P The Cougar was pretty much done already around a month ago. (Yea, I had a head start. :D) But I just tried tuning a 300C for comfort tyres with no power upgrades and ended the session with a lap of nearly 2 minutes and with the back done in. :lol:

In other news, lap times have reached the low 43s. But it understeers like a cruise ship. :yuck:

Just had another thought…I've tuned a Panda, a Punto and now a 500! :D I've tuned nearly all the little fiats! :dopey:

A 300C on comfort tires :scared: if you can tame it without cutting its ... off (engine limiting) you would be a tuning God to me. That car still gives me nightmares :scared: (and I have two posted)

Back on topic... my tune seems not to match up with the times everyone else is getting :(. Maybe I need to go back to the drawing board.
 
I have the 500 on share (Finally), I'm not sure if its gone and changed characters again, but yea…it should be good for a low 43 around the track.

Just a few clicks up and down here and there. I had to tame the rear toe a little and reverse the front toe, if I pushed too hard the damned thing would try to switch ends on me. Front damper changes to reduce forward transfer on braking and allow some transfer to the rear on corner exit. A switch of ride height to allow some more rotation and a slight shift of brake bias to the front.

Top job otherwise. Anybody else feel like chipping in..?? OnBoy has done the hard work, just remains to capitalise on his efforts :sly:

PS - The gearbox is a standard "GTP" one, I think yours would have suited longer courses, but bogged down if I missed an apex :(

Positive toe up front will increase initial turn-in, but frankly I've rarely found it useful as you sacrifice grip.

Try the above, Sir. It still requires some tweaking as it still wants to push wide in some corners...

Well, you say that, can't hurt to give it a drive and see if there's anything you'd change to make it suit you better, that's all I did. Even an opinion on how it drives as is will be valuable 👍

Speaking of testing, I gave your version of the 500 a go just now, I couldn't crack the 43 barrier, but the laps were much more consistent. I think the next step for the car is to find the happy medium, as my one seems to be too snappy from what I've gathered in your report of it, and yours seemed to have a little bit of push from mid corner on and isn't too fond of quick direction changes at high-ish speeds. Krenkme, the stage is yours. 👍
 
I ran one 42.6. and repeated 42.7s-42.9s with it, but it does need tightening up and the last of its tendancies to push wide drilling out of it...

Stiffer front springs? Or...extreme ride hieght difference? Say...0/-25? :lol:
 
Serious advice or fooling? :lol: and this is advice from the almighty Roj! :lol: I shall put it to use...sometime later. :P

Bit of both. :lol: Sometimes it helps a lot, sometimes you can't feel the difference past 30.

Well, as the original setting was something like 5/40/5, I'm guessing it's the latter, though trying it wouldn't hurt. Is it really so hard to get a 500 around a track? :lol:
