StarLight presents another Fiat Abarth car, the Fiat Stilo Abarth Rally version from 2002.
A very nice Fiat rally car, I just love the scorpion badge and his cars.
Enjoy!
Derived from the Stilo 1.8 16v version, the Stilo Abarth Rally has been revised to meet international FIA Group N standards. The engine power of 1747 cc has been increased from its initial value of 133 bhp to 157 bhp, developed at 6900 rpm.
The transmission system now consists of a single-plate metal-ceramic clutch while the gearbox is still the standard 5-speed (plus reverse) unit with the addition of frontal engagement and closer ratios. The laminar differential is self-locking.
The suspension has also been modified in some of its parts and can come in two configurations: one for asphalt and the other for unsurfaced roads. The Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs with height-adjustable shims at the front are racing-specific.
The braking system consists of self-ventilated front discs and standard rear discs with a driver-controlled pressure regulator. The handbrake is hydraulic.
The Stilo Abarth Rally body comes with a roll-bar and homologated FIA cage, fire extinguisher system, racing seats, 5-point seat-belts and battery disconnector. All components meet current rally racing requirements.
The Stilo Abarth Rally deserves a place of honour amongst the sports versions.
