Finally finished World Tour last night...

Thank god!!!

felt i had to complete it before i could go off and explore and enjoy the 'game'. World Tour really was a load of old tosh, so glad its over.
Stupidly easy AI all the way through, dull racing and actually pointless as i'll just go to event list and do races again but with 'proper' AI set to hardest level.

World Tour is utter rubbish.:banghead:

now i can enjoy the sand box petrol heads dream that's Forzas main stay.

Anyone actually enjoyed World Tour?
 
You complete it, thats it, then it asks you to repeat it all over again!!! FFS!!!

why did i even bother!!!! the class of AI in event list is as good if not better than Forza 3.
Why did they bother with World Tour at all?

I emplore anyone racing WT to dive into Event list, thats how it should be.
 
World Tour was strange. It went like this. The first years were easy. Once you get to the more advanced years at the beginning of each year it's easy then towards the end it gets difficult. The championship races, the last races of the year, were pretty rough. Once you finish that and go to the next year it's easy all over again.
 
I haven't touched World Tour at all. I've just been going through the Event List and that is a lot more fun. I'm about 55% done with that.
 
Dislike World Tour with a passion. I am solely and slowly finishing it for the achievement. Then I will go through the Events List.
 
The first day or two I had FM4 I did the World Tour but quickly got bored with it. I've been in the event list ever since. I just don't like the whole layout and jumping around. Also, as others have said, there's some problem with the AI. If they had made the AI adjustable like it is in the event list, that would have helped. But you're stuck with what you get in the WT.

If all you get for finishing WT is an achievement, then I'll stick with the event list and actually keep having fun with FM4!
 
I really like the World Tour. Sure it could be done a bit better but it constantly cycles different events at different locations giving you the option to change out the car you are in. I tend to cycle through all the modes and if I find and build a car I like I go back to events list and try more of them out. I don't stick to one mode only but that's just me.
 
I didn't play much of it at all, strictly went to Event list and Rivals which is my favorite. I don't have time for World tour.
 
F1 minus the bugs would probably dissagree bogie.
Maybe race pro too where you could setup your own championship.

With the added patch the career has taken an added difficulty for the better.
Wish they had more laps involved though.
Maybe a hardcore world tour with a minimum 10 laps.
 
I played World Tour mode a bit when I first got the game, but now I mainly play the Event List mode on the hardest settings. (Professional AI difficulty, upgraded AI cars, no driver aids.) I like the idea of the World Tour mode, but since you can't choose the AI difficulty in World Tour, I prefer to play Event List mode, where I can play on the hardest settings all the time. :)
