I finally got the courage and tried the fgt championship and I must say it has been the best race for me so far in gt5. I am level 39 a spec and 40 b spec.
What I realised was that it was all in my mind set. The first time I tried it some months ago, I quit in the first lap. I convinced myself it was undoable. But yesterday I said to myself, I have bronzed the vettel challenge and have tamed both la sarthe 24hr and the nurb 4hr challenge so many times using the x2010. If I could do this, then why could I not be able to tame the fgt.
So, I set about it. Three odd hours later and I folded the championship on my first run. Wow, what a head rush. By far my most enjoyable experience so far in gt5. The sneaky AIs were constantly trying to spin me out but I held on. Wow, why can't we have more events like this.
My results were;
Fuji - gold
Indy - gold
Monaco - bronze
Monza - gold
Nurb - gold
Suzuka - gold. It rained all the time.
Just wanted to share. Am sure other people who have done it must have felt as elated as I felt.
