Hi everyone. I posted a while ago saying that the wires coming from my pedals into the plug. The plug got severed, and there was no way to tell which is which. So after 3 weeks and getting screwed around. I finally decided to pull the wheel apart and see what is what.
now there is 5 wires coming out of the pedals.
Red Black White Orange Green.
now here is the wiring assignment.
Green is the clutch signal wire.
White is the Brake signal wire.
Orange is the accelerator signal wire. you then have 1 black and 1 red wire, presumably power and ground. you would think it would be a simple match them to the plug and off you go. Well nothing could be further from that statement.

I found a diagram on the net, and re-soldered my wires according to that. well it was wrong.

so being out of ideas, I decided to just take the plug out altogether and just run wires and then do a solder join.
So I pull the wheel apart to get to the plug, low and behold I have many more wires in the plug. I know have
black, Yellow, Orange Red, last pin empty
then bottom row.
brown, pin empty, pin empty, Green
Also there is a white wire soldered to the body of the DB9 connector (I hope someone can tell me why this is)
So this immediately this gave me a huge
mind sexual intercourse (thinking of the kiddies on here)
So I started changing wires around to get the right config.

After a few hours I finally got the power and ground right as I was now getting pedals to send signals. I just had to get the right wires. so I get the clutch working. I then get the accelerator to work. and I can not get the brake to work at all. I though maybe the pedal is busted. so I cange the wire around and hook it into the clutch so that when I depress the brake it signals the clutch, that worked fine, i did the same for the accelerator all fine.
now If I unhook the accel I can get the brake to work. this is a Mind Fark to say the least.

can someone explain why this is happening as I am this {_} close to ordering a G27 as I haven't played F1 yet, or any racing games for at least 2 months starting to get a little ancey,

you have three wires (Clutch, Accelerator and Brake) and from each wire 3 other wires are coming out.

You have to attach them in this order:

Clutch: Red (Top), Green (Middle) and Black (Bottom). The other black wire with a sort of loop as connector has to be attached to the screw

Brake: Red (Top), White (Middle) and Black (Bottom). The other black wire with a sort of loop as connector has to be attached to the screw

Accelerator: Red (Top), Orange (Middle) and Black (Bottom). The other black wire with a sort of loop as connector has to be attached to the screw

Hope this helps

Schu Thanks Mate thats appreciated, That is however the other end that is on the pedals themselves. And that part is unmolested.

My problem is with the other end the plug that goes under the steering wheel .

I ended up buying a G27, not a bad wheel, although the leather or whatever it is. It is already giving me a blister the G25 never did. So I have to wear my racing gloves, which are a little bulky and now I hit the little buttons all the time, lucky I set them to tyre display in F1 2010.
Even without the gloves those little buttons are so easy to push by accident. the G25 was good the single button was big and needed a bit of pressure to push it, never had this problem.
