Hello guys,

I hope you guys can help me out with this issue. My dad uses an iMac, and he has a printer connected onto an Apple Time Capsule. I am using a PC with Windows 8 and was wondering if I can connect to the printer onto Time Capsule?

Searching for a wireless printer reveals nothing on my PC as the printer is connected to Time Casule, but can I gain access to hardware shared on Time Capsule with a PC?

I'm currently looking for a different job, so not being able to print out stuff is rather annoying at this point.

Cheers!

A Time Capsule is just an Airport Extreme with a hard drive wired to it, you should be able to find it as a networked printer. I have an Airport Extreme and I can print to the printer attached to it from any computer regardless of OS. Make sure you have the correct drivers installed.

Weird, my dad's iMac finds it instantly, my PC doesn't find it at all. Are you sure I don't need to install any software to find hardware on the Time Capsule?

The only thing I have installed on my W7 box is HP's basic print/fax/scan drivers, and I only have Safari/iCloud/iTunes/QT for Apple software. I used the 'Add a wireless, network, or Bluetooth printer' dialog in the control panel to find it. Are you connected to the Time Capsule itself (as in the WiFi signal it puts out)?

Ah, that might be the problem. I assumed I could find it over the regular wireless, and not by connecting to the Capsule itself.
