Finding the Same Room Online

I'm not a noob to GT5 but I'm not an expert with the online racing thing either. I've searched and not found any info on this. It seems like I am just missing something, but... if I need to leave an online racing room to buy a car or an upgrade or to do an oil change, how do I go back and find that same room I was just in? Thanks in advance for any helpful answers.

Before you leave, check the room number at the top left of your screen. Write it down, then when you need to get back in, just use the "enter room number" feature.

Well this isn't the only way. But it is the most efficient.
What you can do is send a PSN friend request one of the people in the room. Then when you do what you need to do with the car, you go to the GT-Life home page, hit Community, and click the person's Id... You will then need to hit the little yellow button right above the lounge tea cup, it will take you straight to that room.

Also, if you don;t want to do that, you can go back to open lobby and if they are using the same track race after race, set the track filter to narrow down your search.
