First i want to say "hi" to everyone. Hi!

Someone miight recognise me from some other forum as Edd1e but that name was taken so this is my second pick. :P

Ivé been browsing this forum for quite a whlie now and as u probably figured out i got madly impressed by all of u crazo mofos out there who drift like i dont know what.

So, i thought, why dont i atleast try to drift some, and after about five hours and twelve cokes of testing i did this thing that definetly aint no drift from a god, more like a horse on prozac compared to some of the movies ivè seen..
Anyway, what i would like to hear is your thoughts of my drifts in the video and hopefully some advices on how i can get better at this drifting-thing. (=

Since the question seem to come up i also add that i use a wheel and sim tires and if you think the video is to big, i can make it smaller if it`s required. It´s now a bit over 15MB.

Regards. Eddie.

Edit: Of course i forgot to put the link in for the video..
And one more thing. My soundcard is weird so i "had" to pick a song in it.. :P

Video HERE

Welcome to the forums, BAZZ :)

I watched your first drift, and it looks really smooth. I think you have worked really hard to drift so well like that. I think it's evident that the wheel helps in drifting from this video :D

It looks like you are on the levels of pergatory and CudaMan in my opinion. Congradulations on drifting so well with five hours and twelve cokes of testing ;)

And I won't have to worry about the video size. I usually go for quality over compression.

Hey and thnx Thio. (=

Yay, so i didnt make a complete fool outta me? :D
Hmm.. Guess i´ll have to get myself some more cokes then. (=

one comment.. Hmm. Might not have been so good after all.. :S
Oh well.. Back to practise i guess..

Don't count your chickens before they're hatched Bazz......
Here's comment #2: Great Job!!! You definately are on the level of pergatory and Cudaman. If you switched from Coke to Code Red, I'm sure Catch_my_Drift would have competition for sure!!!!!

Welcome to GTP!!!

Donnu really.. :S That thing called brain dont start to work untill ivé been up for about an hour..

The video was very good, and since you managed to do that with only 5 hours or practice I think you have one hell of a lot of potential, but I don't think you are on the level of Cudaman or pergatory just yet, but on the pace you have set you might be there already; or will be there very soon. Keep practicing and I look forward to your next video.

Thanks for the comments and response on the video.
I´m not sure if i have gotten any better the latest days though. I feel like i´m stuck in some weird way, like i know what to do but when i do it, it ends up with a complete failure... Ohh well, noobs. :embarrassed:

Of course i have been "trying" to drift before but when i saw the videos here on GTP  i just had to atleast try to do some myself..
I will post a new video (if anyones interresed that is) as soon as i think it is better then the one i made here..
Buuut first i gotta get some settings for some var, cant drift the silvia all the time.. :P

Cheers. //Eddie.

I'm so envious of you people that can drift......

I'm even more envious of you ppl that have the components and capabiltity to show off drift videos.....=(

yeah, can you not tell that he's swedish? his english might not be the best its still good enough to understand so stop being an asshole

His english is better than half the people on this forum. Anyway, great video BAZZ! I too am looking forward to seeing more of your stuff in the future. Have you really only been drifting 5 hours? That seems unlikely to me! BTW if you need a faster host and can't find one then let me know and I will host some of your videos. That download was unbearable!!

Thnx for your comments! :embarrassed:

Yeah, that one took me five hours. Course ivé been _trying_ to drift but without any succes at all. Ivé didnt realize that it wasnt neccesary to keep the throttle maxed through the whole curve.. Thnx to the GREAT guides that are available here on GTP i started understanding how to drift better.

Yeah, fast hosting is always good.. I have a 10Mbit connection here but my bandwith is not something i have loads of.. Got a FTP running that steals most of it.. :S
So if u can, tell me what to do and i`ll do it. (= Cheers mate.

//Eddie.

It does seem counter-intuitive at first that you can even completely let off the throttle for several seconds while drifting. Watching japanese drift videos really helped me to grasp that concept when I first started drifting. BTW, do you know Kristian, the guy who organized the recent drift event in Sweden? He's got a pretty nice ride! If you know him, tell him I said hi =)
