First Person Pit Stop View

I think it would be cool to have a mode in the game when YOU are part of the pit crew. You have different tasks and challenge to complete, against the clock, and also being part of the crew for a whole race, all in first person.

It would be awesome because it would give players an idea of what its like to be part of the pit crew.

They could call this mode "C-Spec" since A spec and B spec are taken.

C(rew)-Spec, sounds good. It would be interesting, but only if you have to do more than hit one button at a time.

I like the idea, but I can see players getting frustrated. Although this could be a really good use for the PS Move controller.

I think this is an awful idea. I never thought I would see an idea worse than B-spec, but there it is. PD should focus firstly on bringing the GT series up to the standard of other games out there with regards to the racing, rather than attempting off-shoots like this.

What if we just had a "Be a pit crew member mini-game" during B-Spec and possibly A-Spec?

Ya. It would have more than one button to press, and different modes, easy, medium, hard.

Just because I say an idea doesn't mean it will happen. So shhh, this mode would be better than b spec, b spec you just watch and hardly do anything. C-Spec will be hands on, and when the car comes into the pits you have to go fast and within a certain amount of time.

Prep the tires, make sure fresh sets of tires are warmed up, uhhh, sip coffee, and ya. lol. Whatever the pit crew does when they are waiting. If this mode is produced, which is highly unlikely, you will be able to skip the times when no pits are scheduled.

Well, the idea is not that bad but I'd rather like to see to be able to drive the car during a pit stop and stop at the right point and so on.
I think there is no need for a C-Spec they could implement it as a part of the B-Spec. Or only give us an A-Spec, i don't need B- or C-Spec

Nope to all the rest. There are some examples of older games that had that manual pit crew "feature"....and it's awful.

The thing is you say it's so people can experience what it's like to be a mechanic, well the question is does anyone want to? I think most people who watch any professional motorsport knows how it works, you service the car then sit in the garage on a fold-out metal chair with all the other mechanics until you're needed again.

I don't see the fun factor at all.

Maybe as some kind of "loading screen minigame", or a special event... I think it could be a nice addition
