Hello everyone I've just signed up to the forum and could use some advice on certain b-spec events in GT5.

I'm in the pick-up truck challenge using a Dodge RAM 1500 which you get from one of the licenses. I won the Laguna seca race easily but im having difficulty with the daytona speedway. The truck has already been modified to 537BHP and weighs around 400kg less than the original weight. I've also upgraded the exhaust and suspension and other things spending around 70k in tuning.

Could someone help me..is there something i must do concerning modifications or certain orders to give my driver.

Sorry if theres already another thread like this...any help would be appreciated

Maybe level up your driver more?

I have one driver at level 8 I only bought the game one wednesday so ive been focusing more on licenses etc.

My other driver I havent used yet but my level 8 driver always gets overtaken on the straights as the other pickups use my slipstream to get past and i struggle to keep pace.

Perhaps you should level your driver more. And 70k in tuning isn't alot. More can be done to upgrade. B-spec races is more about overpowering your opponents.

No I've played GT1, 2 and 4 but obviously in this game the bspec mode is different.

But no worries finally got it after probably some unneccessary overspending in the tuning area and letting the driver move up a few levels.

I don't know about B-spec, but on A-spec I used a fully modded Chevrolet SST Concept (not tuned, just engine upgrades) and I smoked the other trucks. If you see an SST, pick it up and try it out.
