Can't help it. I've come to the conclusion that my sole aspiration in life is to let the world know the truth on Macs, and how they suck. Heck, suck would have to be the understatement of the century.

For pete's sake… I didn't start this thread for the purpose of having a PC vs. Mac debate, but I might as well throw this in: I've been using OS X for a year and a half now, and I couldn't possibly be happier (well, Macromedia needs to cut down on the amount of junk code in Fireworks, but that's beside the point). For some people, Windows is the better choice, for a variety of reasons, and I totally don't mind that. Similarly, Mac OS X is the better choice for a number of people, for a variety of reasons. If OS X crashed 5 minutes after every startup, had terrible UI design, and didn't allow its users to do what they need to do in a timely matter, then you'd be free to say that it sucks. But it doesn't, so don't.

Anyway, a RAID array made of Flash drives. For some reason, I have this vision of little keychain drives stacked on top of one another. :)

Sorry Sage, only reason I threw the Macs thing in there is 'cause I enjoy bugging you about Macs like you wouldn't believe. :P Eh, I enjoy bugging anyone that uses a Mac to no end. Except that I’m not sorry. :D

I definitely agree with you on with your ‘Different people, different machines’ statement. Seeing as each person is different, it's obvious that some will like one machine, OS, UI, etc more than another.

I'll go ahead and stray away from getting argumentative about Macs vs. PC and not attack your statement, as long as your intent upon making the "If OS X crashed every 5 minutes after every startup, had terrible UI design, and didn't allow its users to do what they need to do in a timely matter, then you'd be free to say that it sucks. " statement wasn't an indirect crack on PCs. If it was, well, you’re in for it Sir. :P

Wow, I am speechless. For 500megs, it's a useless attempt.
But the novelty! That's what it's all about!

Okey dokey... no harm, no foul. :)

Nope, it wasn't. I've yet to see a computer crash that often ;), aside from ones that have had their system framework fudged up badly.

Jeebus, how many people visit this forum per day, and so few of you have responded? Com'n, how many of you have ever heard of this before?!
