FM3 to FM4 transfer; need clarifying please.

I know that you are able to transfer some things from FM3 onto your FM4 career, but have no idea what exactly gets transfered over. I've compiled a list of what I think may be transferred over:

Cars (with accordance to official car list, of course)

Designs on cars

Tuning setups on cars

Credits

I need details, so be as specific as possible.

As far as I've been able to understand, there's the Community/Player Loyalty cars that transfer over, and vinyls. Not full car designs, just the vinyl groups you may have saved. Unsure if tunes will transfer since I assume there's been changes to that system, and I haven't read anything about credits (though, it looks like they'll be flowing fast anyways).

It'd be nice if our pictures transferred over. Or they, you know, let us still access MyForza with FM3. I want to see my pictures...

Funny thing is, if I understand it right....the S204, Camaro SS and RX-7 Spirit R are unicorns from FM2? You can't buy them from a dealership and you can't buy them in the auction house anymore. So I'm assuming they have to be bought in the FM4 auction house and you know EVERYONE will want those cars

Well it would have really sucked for the people that were actually able to obtain one of the unicorns in FM3 and not have it transfer over.

Those are the unicorns from FM3. I suppose it's more about not screwing people over who've got them on their FM3 save already.

But, yeah, I'll agree, Jerome, the unircorns will be, again, very expensive and heavily sought after. I wonder, though, now that we got 17 of them, whether T10 will put them up for auction more often?

Yea, the only cars left for me on the Unicorn list are the VIP cars, those 3 'Super' Unicorns and the LF-A, which I'm 40K away from getting.

I may be getting the FM3 VIP car pack cause I have the MS points for it *shrugs*

Here's a list of the unicorns for FM4 and how to attain them... What trips me out about this list is the fact that just about all of the cars on this list with the exception of the 3 unicorns from FM3, can be purchased from the dealership in FM3. I'm now wondering if these "unicorns" will also transfer over from your FM3 game save to FM4 (despite what is mentioned in the list below)?

The ZR1, 458 Italia, and the LFA will be available in the dealership. The rest are all unicorns.

It should be in the dealership after the F50, 599 GTB, and the FF.

That would be kinda stupid for Turn10 to make the 458 a unicorn since it's the cover car and they've been promoting the game with it. That be like saying, "You see this Ferrari...you want it? Yeah, I bet you do...well, too bad. You can't have it unless you fork out 90 million in game credits." Yeah, not many people would be happy with that.

Not sure but you could always delete all the FM4 stuff and re install it if that were the case.

I wonder if they'll let you import multiple of the same car? I wouldn't mind taking a couple 458 Italia's with me.

I'm just glad that none of the car mods in FM are permanent, so we don't have to make the choice of keeping the "one and only" of each unicorn stock or make it crazy.

A couple days before that was announced I had already turned my entire collection into a big pile of monster cars. I took bad cars and just turned them into freakish experiments, and then I sold them for parts on other cars, so I now have no money, and very, very fast Nissan Farilady.


So I'm pretty much stuck with the level rewards, but honestly I'd be happy with nothing, so getting those 5 is fine by me.

Have you logged in lately? I got 15 cars from T10 today, including an HKS Evo, making that the 3rd I own, so I can send it over to at least cover that unicorn. The 430 Scuderia, Gallardo Superleggera, and ZR1 can be sent on over too, provided I can do that (I was told people couldn't send them to me a few days ago, but I've now bought the pack they came in, so unsure if that's the only requirement. Guess you'd need it too).

Yeah, I had it delete a few of mine too, luckily it was just an R8 and the RX-8. I'm wondering if we got similar gifts - in which case, don't worry, it was just a new-gen Camaro with some gaudy advertisement for something XBox-related

Xavier - just a standard copy. No idea why this happens, but I've received probably nearly 30 cars from T10 in the course of the past week.

I think it's your "VIP rewards". In the past, they took the form of T10 painted cars themed by a game, or something else. For example:

And sometimes T10 sends you incentive vehicles like Evora 124 Endurance in a FM3 themed livery, but is only obtainable via DLC. In this instance the "Summer Velocity Pack".

They may be sending you vehicles to celebrate the release of FM4.

I was just playing and I haven't received anything. I had a few messages when I first signed in earlier this week...credits from the auction house, a message about the release of the community pack, something about preordering FM4 (maybe the RX7 deal), and a 250 GTO gift car (which I don't have, so meh).
