Hmm. Would be cool. All the comics in the UK absolutely love the RS. Somehow I rather doubt that they'll do it though.

My thinking goes like this:

1) A turbo 4 would fit under the stock hood pretty easily, and

2) Ford Racing already makes a kit to put a V8 longitudinally in the Focus, for RWD drag racing purposes, but

3) That setup would devastate the Mustang's sales, so

4) I'm voting longitudinal I-6 or V-6 with AWD.

Should be pretty snappy.

The turbo-4 is probably what they've been "having problems with", and a V6 (something small, like the 2.5L used in the X-Type) with two small turbos (and AWD, of course) would make the Cossie Focus a real contender. Perhaps even rising above its cruddy interior. It'd sure get my interest.

:ford: have simply got to bring out a Cosworth, the RS was released to compete with the other FF Hot :fire: hatches :honda: Civic :r: etc..

But when the Cosworth arrives it's gonna blow away competitors. :burnout:
