Yep..once I retaliated in anger , tho the jerk deserved it, it's not who I want to be.. i quit the game for a week to level set. Last night I plowed some guy because I was fiddling with my tcs...i surrendered the position to him.

My “For Shame” moment was an entire race this morning. Couldn’t stay consistent at all and ended up causing (by accident) a small crash because I overshot a corner... I later surrendered the position to him. The race was embarrassing to say the least

Ugh I’ve had those mornings as well. Every day is a race day, every day is a different day, every day you will be competing against players with very different driving styles. **** happes, but no matter what I will always maintain an S+ sportsmanship rating

I try to be clean and most of the time I belive I am. However I've had a couple of bumps being all my doing.

Once I went in for overtaking on the last corner in the last lap on Yamagiwa, Gr. 4 race. I was too aggressive and bumped the side of the other guy, overtaking but it was dirty. Thought about giving the lead up but somehow the thirst for my first victory took over and I raced to the finish line, in shame.

Turned out the other guy had a sizable penalty left and actually finished 3rd because of that, so I would've won either way and thay made me feel slightly better :D

My most embarasing race was the Honda vgt? one make last night..i can't drive that thing on that track...it was bad, and also happens to be the race I mentioned above.

Shame story: Q in 6th in my first FIA race with A drivers at Suzuka. Took Degner Curve too wide on lap 1 and ended up in the gravel... came back in 11th. Climbed up to 9th but got pushed around and finished 15th if I remember correctly.

It’s probably tied with my: threw it in the gravel on last lap in the Vantage FIA race. Managed to hold 11th until I overshot the first corner and dropped to 18th.

The stakes are high in FIA races ;)

I watched a clean guy get punted by a dirty guy. The clean racer was legit faster than both of us, but he ended up behind me and the dirtbag. So the next lap, the clean racer passes me, and is now trailing behind the scum racer, so on the long straight I drafted and gave the clean guy a helpful nudge. The clean guy went on to win. I had a shame? No. The scumbag did though. I may have lost to the scum. But I helped a good man win.

In first place suzuka, cut last corner by accident/nerves to get a 3 second penalty to end up finishing 3rd. Not quite sure if its egg on face or cone of shame. I'm pretty sure I would of been laughed at though.

Interesting that this thread should pop up now, because I just had the biggest fumble in today's manufacturer race at Willow Springs. Holding 5th at the start and just kind'a hanging back while the frontrunners bunch up. Going into turn three I have no idea what happened, but I sort of just forgot to brake and punted a Subaru off hard. Right after contact I was still braking while processing how monumentally I had just screwed up so the guy behind me made contact and launched me off course as well. Ended up finishing like 17th or so. Quite embarrassing, and the victim didn't really seem too thrilled by my apology. I really don't make such bad mistakes often.

Haven't had one in a while but a week or so ago in a 10 lap race at Interlagos I started 4th or 5th and just completely missed my braking point into the first corner and bumped someone hard. Tried my best to stay out of the way of anyone else, spun and fell all the way back to 18th or 19th, whichever was last place. Felt like a complete amateur and felt bad for the driver I hit as first corner collisions are pretty annoying. I think I got distracted by looking behind me and then the corner was right there. Was pretty disappointed in myself as I'm usually very good at avoiding first corner contacts by being disciplined, even if there may be opportunities.

Anyway, I managed to pull it back together and climbed all the way up to 4th by the end of the race. It was actually displaying me as 3rd for the longest time and then it said 4th as I was driving down the final straight. I watched the replay to see what was up and it turns out the leader must've been lagging as he was being displayed as 1st or 18th (last) at different times throughout the race. Most of the time he was "18th" so I didn't understand how I wasn't 3rd by the time I finished, but the replay confirmed he actually won. Completely unrelated to my first corner incident but interesting nonetheless.
