For the N-series cars, do we know the extent of their tuning?

Like, I know that for an N-series car, you can upgrade it or de-tune it insofar that it can actually qualify for a different N-series. For example, the Alfa Romeo 4C and BMW M4 can both be tuned or de-tuned for N300. Do we know what these "ranges" are for the other N-series cars? Or is it always only going to be +/- one N-series?

I believe some cars can be tuned at least 2 levels, for example, some N500 can be tuned to N700 category.
But not sure, not spending mileage points for now, except on homologation vehicles and some rims.

Can slicks, racing suspension and roll cages be added? I don't have the game yet.

No, Kaz believes the current players don't bother with these stuff. So no more part by part tuning, grinding to buy them. Just upgrades of power and weight, not with credits but mileage points, another currency of the game (now, when you race, even if a time trial on arcade, you get credits, mileage points (kind of airline miles) and Xp points). You can buy cars with credits, aftermarket rims, paint colors, race suits, helmets, or upgrades are bought with mileage points. Xp is used to advance levels (only matters to level 20 (except some achievement ahead) to unlock all tracks).
For suspension, gearbox or diffs, you just have the option to use customizable ones, with no cost, as all tire types are available for free.

Ah. I also thought there might be a way to detune a Gr.4 car(delete aero). That's a bit of a shame. However, I can understand PD want to keep cars far and even.

Don’t quote me on this 100% but I believe when looking at the power and weight upgrades if it has 3 levels it means the car has 3 possible classes like N100-N300 and if it has 5 upgrades then 5 classes for example the La Ferrari can go from N600-N1000. I own every car so I could test this theory out but I’m too lazy lmao so don’t quote me on it.
