For the PlayStation Buffs (Help Needed)

New to the PS3 as I have alway had an Xbox.

Anyway

I got GT6 15 An Yesterday and was going to buy a PS3 too but was unable too.

I have lent one from a fellow Group member as I will be getting my own in 1 or 2 weeks.

So my Question is this.

I have the Anniversary Content and Pre Order Content codes here.

If I use them now will I be able to transfer the content over on to my own PS3 in a few weeks?

Or should I save them and use them when I get my own PS3?

When you log into your account on your new PS3, you will find a 'download history list' which will contain your downloaded items (I too just got a new PS3 recently) but, before you give your current PS3 back, be sure to disable the content on that system, as you can only have up to 3 PS3 systems with the same downloaded content at one time.

I can't say for certain as I downloaded my copy however these codes are usually limited to one use.

Its now sat on the first loading screen where it tells you to drive safe etc for the past 30min +. Is this normal?

The dots are moving at the bottom. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Completely normal. Mine took awhile as well

Huh? That never happened to me, did it eventually load FastGT23?
If it was installing, it would have a status bar, I'd assume. Finished yet?

Its the screen that says:

Then the Polyphony logo and 8 dots that light up in sequence below it.

Been about an hour now?

Reset the system. Did a check for Corrupt files found nothing and is now working!

I had the same thing happen...stuck for ages on the dots, thought it had crashed, pressed the PS button on the controller and exited, at which point is told me the system didn't shut down properly and needed to check for corruption but nothing found. Works fine since so maybe a first load issue type thing

I redeemed the codes on my fat 80Gb but as it keeps locking up every few races, I moved the kids' slim to my gaming room. Logged in to the same PSN, downloaded the save from my Playstation Plus account, went in to my recent transaction and re-downloaded my Anniversary vehicles with no issues whatsoever. 👍

Thanks for the response lads. I'm going to use the 15 ans code and save the pre-order code and I think that is just a one shot deal.
